Shannon is by far my fave U.S. gymnast ever, and she was the best damn thing America ever had. You gotta forget her ridiculous attempt to make the 2000 team. She reminds me in a lot of ways of a Romanian - killer work ethic, very serious, able to deal with a harsh coach, ready to sacrifice. And this may be the best montage of her on youtube!
I remember my sister watchin her when I was a kid. Got an autographed shirt mailed to her from Shannon. Had a duck on it with shades and it said it was from some gymnastics camp.
I saw her in person at an Olympic tour event in Charlotte NC in 1992. She was so awesome. We were sitting close enough to the floor so I could see her up close. She's always been my favorite gymnast.
i really like this alot!!! it is soo good except for one little part, at 2:18 that is not shannon that is Rosa Galivia (Dont know how to spell her last name) from Russia, you can see it on her leoatard. That was happened when Shannon was on beam and Rosa couldnt hear her floor music because of all of the yelling, so she got deducted and it cost her a medal.
i liked that to!i am a gymnastics girl but my coach doesent pay much attention to me what should i do?ANYONE right back if u have an answer ohh and great video to choose!
Not Van the Man. John Hiatt wrote, plays and sings from his landmark 1986 recording (w/Ry Cooder, Nick Lowe and Jim Keltner) "Bring the Family," one of the best CD's of the 80's.
oh, i thank she rock.It and she did good she know she rock.

You're right, it wasn't Shannon. However, I think that the gymnists should be prepared for their music to suddenly stop or skip, and ect.

Great job. Its nice to see someone celebrate Miller. Its amazing how much she gets overlooked.
