My criticisms:

The Gravity Hammer does NOT work like that...

The ODST helmet looked fake

The setting wasn't right for Halo..if you play the games, or read the books, no battles are in a wasteland with concrete walls

They were only fighting Brutes - this just doesn't happen in Halo. The Covenant move around in groups comprised of several species.

The scale was not large enough. Any pitched battles, such as this, in Halo are usually very large scale.
