LOL U all think thats alot of snow. SHould of been here in 1997 during xmas time. It snowed none stop for a week. I remeber getting snowed in at my house for xmas and couldnt go to my gma's until 3 days later. They had to fly out on planes and drop Hay to all the Cattle so they wouldnt die.
Roswell gets pretty cold during the nighttime. The average low in January is 24, so it can support snow. Usually it doesn't last for long since the average January high is 56. I don't live in Roswell but I am one of those weather geeks so I know a lot of this kind of stuff.
chrisromer07, your mistaken. there was one year that it did not snow but maybe a 3 minute flury that didn't even stick to the ground. (this was 3 years ago in case your wandering.)

I remember that. I had to drive thru all the ice and snow just to make it back to school on time.
My poor little Neon was sliding all over the place. I want to say the snow stayed on the ground until the end of Feb/Mar.
