every song in the world? whats the fucking good idea of that, what a STUPID GUY, ohhh since 5 minutes ago I record a song with my band! and is not for sale, SOOOOOOOO YOUR COLLECTION IS INCOMPLETE! sucker
stupid respect to the god, whats his name, love these type of humans, fuckn amazingly sick,so this dude and paul mawhinney are the illest, they are gods in my eyes
holey f*ck, at 2:47, right in front of him, it is a Jimy hendrix greatest hits album. I actually have it in mint condition.... I don't collect but I do have few... lol.
If he has a million records, it would simply not be realistic for him to listen to his music - even once. If each album was half an hour long and he listened every minute of every day, then it would take him OVER 50 YEARS to listen to a million records.
Of course, I have no idea how many in his collection are singles - but the point stands...there simply aren't enough hours in the human lifetime.
I love a die hard collector and will always support them...this freakin guy is nuts though!!! lol...but more power to him and his goal. I mean dam...EVERY SONG/SINGLE IN THE WORLD lol!!!!!! Hate to stomp a goal but not possibe!!
1:49..."Name a song--I'll show you where it is...(wierd facial expression)...Hows that grab you?" He can't store records well, OCD at the least, but I would love to go thru his collection!!
Haha whats he know, what about Question Mark (?) The Mysterians and Q'65, haha thats crazyness though, when it comes to 60's Garage/Psych I'm prolly just as insane as him.
He reminds me of a freaky kid I went to school with, who was collecting stamps, when he was 11, instead of playing football. I hung around with him for a while, and it was the most depressing period of my life. Thankfully, I eventually got accepted by a much more normal group of kids, who played sports and spoke to girls. It was a narrow escape.
True, never possible to get every record, ever, too many short print releases and indie releases. This guy is pretty crazy, think of all the money he spent on all that.
It's not possible to have every record in the world and anyway why would u want every record there's alot of bullshit out there.oh yeah almost forgot he's fuckin' weird!!!!!!!
The DVD of the film that this comes from, will be available in the Winter of '07. There's not much else exactly like this guy in the film or in the extras. And I'm speaking as the guy who made the film. I just joined youtube and saw the thing about material you don't have permission to upload. Oh well, I guess that's ignored routinely.
Yes I can say that I've sent friends the link to this who hadnt seen the film and they are keen to get it on either vhs or the upcoming DVD. I would recommend that you make your own DVD promo trailer for youtube as it's basically free advertising. This clip here has gotten 31,000 some odd views.
I saw Phantom of the Opera in there, that sucks but I also saw a Ventures album which is very cool.
I have about 400 - 500 albums. I mainly collect rock and pop stuff and it's subgenres from 50's - 80's and some Jazz, Funk/ R&B and exotic stuff (moog albums ect.)
I have more respect for a music lover that specialises in certain types of music, specific eras or bands, than someone like him who systematically collects every records, no matter if it's good or bad.
And I thought I was weird for owning 15 000 records. Heck, I might even be below average!
