That demon is pretty tall and have a small mouth*needling*(small mouth because you are talking bad things about your parents while you was alive).

He killed his own father by throwing a rock on his car while he was driving(he didnt know it of cause but that doesnt matter- because he did WANT to hurt other people on proposed and thats a sin) why he turned into a demon(or a tree)? There is a rules in buddhisms. For every action you did in a lifetime ..there is always consequence in your afterlife.

So she send him to a monk but that doesn t help either because he didnt want to change at all(as a monk you have many rules to follow but he breaks all of them-in the movie you can see he steal food from a ghosh-people are sacrifice food for them(is a ritual things) and is a curse if you try to eat those stuff-he didnt believe in ghosh so he eat it. As a monk you also cant eat meals after 6 A.M but he did in the movie)

And another thing, don't judge US horror movies by those many independent or no name wannabe horror movies, because there are alot of them.
