@ae86boyracer He wasn't hoping for that, obviously. Kraus was trying to pile on so much pressure that Petrosyan would've started making mistakes, and he could try to knock him out.

Some of those monster punches missed by only a centimetre. Kraus did do very good here. And his tactic is probably the only way to defeat Petrosyan. Andy Souwer is the only fighter ever to come close to Petrosyan on points, so why bother doing the impossible when you can go for the knockout instead?

petrosyan isn't my favourite fighter, but man, he is very, very skilled, you can see his mind working through all his fights. every movement he makes seems so calculated, and so efficient. controlled kicks, controlled punches, controlled knees and defined combos.

Don't know much about Petrosyan. But he's already beaten Souwer and now Kraus and drawn with Buakaw. He has speed and power. Unlike Kyshenko (the other young gun), he has great lateral movement and doesn't tire himself out throwing bombs. He looks like the goods. Kraus was his punching bag, an easy target for his killer jab.

I'd love to see Kyshenko and Petrosyan in a brawl.

I'm Dutch myself, so I can't help but to root for Kraus, but Petrosyan definately deserved the win. An amazing fighter, I see him taking home the title this year and many more in the coming years. Great to see him in action.

I give credit to Kraus for lasting the whole fight. Petrosyan is so hard to hurt, such good defence. I really want a Buakaw/petrosyan final. Souwer was far from convincing in his victory over kyshenko and the japanese fighter is there to make up numbers.
