This car has the most beautiful rear finishes I have ever seen. 2001 year car and rear still looks like a newer car. The rear was one reason I bought this car. Just like the way those m5 big tires sit when viewed from the back...looks like a racing car!

well the 7 series is OBVIOUSLY geared towards well off older people NOT 20 year olds who wear their cap backwards and say the "N" word every few sentences. It just totally cheapens the car as the car was created for people in their mid-life crisis.

Geweldige Video, de E38 modellen zijn een van de mooiste BMW modellen die ooit zijn gemaakt. Die nieuwe 7-series vindt ik persoonlijk echt helemaal niks. Kawa, to be honest..I thought the first part was almost stock sounding. I had a 97' and the sound reminded me of my stock exhaust. I notice the garage scene has modified exhaust- Remus probably.Nice video,really!

This one is from '98. Maintenance can be very expensive if you go to dealer. If you can repair a lot yourself it would be quite cheaper but still a lot of money.

Service is +/- once a year, depends on how much you drive.

Did you floor it in that garage? Seems like there'd be more tire squealing going in a straight line and punching it or something because I know lots of four and six cylinders that will squeal all over the place if you take off like that on that kind of pavement. Hell, they'd do it on rough pavement more than that does on slick pavement. I like BMWs and that's a nice car, just not that impressive if you were flooring it.

The car has a steptronic (automatic) gearbox and then it's more difficult to spin the tires, even on slick pavement.

Oh, well maybe the way it is geared. BMWs, especially the big 5s and 7s seem geared for top end and not so much take off. I forgot that rear wheel drive cars are harder in general to make squeal tires than front wheel drive. In any case, still sounds pretty cool.

Hey dude!Nice car but replace those brake pads!Also a very good thing 2 check out on your car is fan clutch/visco clutch.Yours doesnt sound good and can be costly if breaks/explodes.I have been through it and know the symptons.I have a 96 740i Silwer/Grey Int.Just do yourself a favour and replace the fan clutch it will also reduce fuel consumption. Try turning your fan by hand and If its stiff turning over you know what do!

Thanks for the tip, you're right the visco was broke. A few weeks after we made this movie the temperature went to red. Respect that you can hear that!!

The brakes are also replaced by the complete brakes of a 750i V12.
