It's weird how he can distill someone's mannerisms down to the things that people recognize about them so well and then pull them off. Lot's of people do impressions, some good, and then there's Hammond.

I dunno if I'd be able to resist quoting celebrity Jeopardy if I ever met him...it's hard enough not to when he's not even around.

@curlycomedian i know this is weird 3yrs after you post something to get a reply but I'm just watching this upload now. I don't know how well you know him, but I've always been a big fan of his and I've just been heartbroken to hear what he went through as a child. If you're buddies with him could you please tell him how brave he is to share his story. He has really inspired me on a personal level and I wish him all the happiness and inner peace that he is so deserving of. Thanks.

@rubensteel - Hammond, apparently, is quite screwed up. Although he appears pretty "normal" here, he had a melt down on NPRs Fresh Air, literally crying while he described how he CUTS himself. He wrote a book about his fucked up parents and life (of course! What celebrity hasn't?). Anyway, I figure it's just a matter of time before he takes a knife to someone's throat.
