  • This is pretty funny, and I'm a member of the Conservative Party. I disliked it though because it's Labour, obvs.

  • i voyed tory because the chameleon was cute

  • This is brilliant advert.

  • Vote Labour.

  • They should have played this in 2010

  • vote connservative

  • the quotes are taken completely out of context- labour PR bull shit

  • What a great day - the thugs have been kicked out of Downing Street. The NuLiebor experiment is over. Hopefully the country can be saved before it's too late.

  • keep the chinless ex-Etonian well away from power today.

  • labour are retards... they have destroyed this country and now we are in serious debt. surely you agree with me that the making of a video like this demostrates how petty and pathetic labour really are. thats why ill be voting conservative

  • I prefer Brown over Cameron and would have voted Labour if I was 3 days older in 2005 but now I feel the public sector is oversized and will be voting conservative in the, probably vain, hope that they will reduce public spending.

  • if we got that annoying tory boy, i might shoot myself

  • In politics, you cannot be everything to everyone. You would not get things done. I find myself hating Cameron more everyday. I never liked Labour but this is a very clever and funny ad. Absolutely brilliant!

  • definetly, this election will DEFINETLY be decided by marginal constituencies, and people are falling for the tories 'gordon brown is bad' thing, you think brown is bad, wait for cameron...oh god.

labour will guide us to recovery, conservatives will cut us back to recession, im not old enough to vote, 1 year away, DAMITTTT vote labour..FOR ME PLEASE!

    :)

  • he just got smeared like margerine

  • Vote UKIP.

  • I'm glad that Anthony Blair's desperation to be popular didn't lead to him asking people to call him something blokey and chilled-out like 'Tony'.

  • i love chameleon

  • agreed

  • This advert should of been used against Blair in 1997.

he told everyone to call him Tony and he became Britains worst PM.

Blair was a chameleon not Cameron.

typical labour advert, full of shit.

  • @MrTORYTOM

Cameron is a poor man's Blair. Blair would have dominated any televised debate as I watched him do many times Wednesday afternoon.

  • am0919 go home do not go to the ballot box. CONSERVATIVES ARE FULL OF STUCK UP TWATS. Get Cameron some scissors for the cuts he wants to make.

  • What age group are they going for here? Five year olds? FIVE YEARS CAN'T VOTE!

  • One problem with what they've done here. This is Blair's portfolio:

He has shortened his name from Anthony to Tony

He, and much of his party, have "gone green"

Blair was educated at Fettes College in Edinburgh (sometimes called the "Eton of Scotland"), so had a fairly privileged education himself.

Blair and 'New Labour' are often credited with introducing spin to the UK as an important element of political campaigning.

  • Dave is a cockend, that's a given.

That chameleon is so likeable though, I'd vote for it.

  • Wait a second this is Brown! Typical Labour attack, the only reason they cant produce another one is because we have run out of money! Another trademark of a Labour Goverment!

  • This was made in 2006by the looks of the date it was posted on here, so money wouldn't have been the issue if they wanted to release another one.

I don't like Cameron, but this is a shoddy attempt at an attack on him. Its the typical Punch and Judy politics I have come to expect from both Brown and Cameron.

  • Clegg 4 PM!!!!!!!

    Cable 4 Chancellor!!!!

  • Clegg for PM. He's the only one with more policy than "I'm not Gordon Brown".

  • David Cameron is a joke, but he IS going to win the next General Election unless Labour put forward Miliband.

    Miliband is our only hope.

  • No Miliband is a dick.

We want Alan Johnson, even Michael Portillo thinks he is the only chance for Labour.

  • No you fools, Hillary Benn.

  • Hillary Benn would be a massive let down. He's nothing like his Dad.

  • Ha ha ha, This is Hilarious.... Dave Cameron is a flute, but Brown is no better.

  • It backfired on them, hence they dropped it. OWNED!

  • The true irony is this chameleon reference perfectly describes new labour.

  • The Labour supporters can mock us, but a Blue Chameleon is more dangerous than your withering Red Rose.

  • Nice work Labour. I wonder how long it took them to think this up. Im sure they dont have anything more important to be doing. Lets not forget how amazing Gordon Brown is at keeping HIS promises. Perhaps they should sort themselves out before making childish, idiotic and personal attacks on individual opposition politicians. If David Cameron is a chameleon then I dont even want to know what Gordon Brown is.

  • Another desperate grab at a vote from what appears to be a failing party. I'm afraid Dave's chameleon qualities are working.

  • the labour party is running out of ideas this is actually kinda pathetic but funny

  • I'll second that =D

  • This advert rocks. I'm not a Labour voter (I'm conservstive) but I really love this advert.

  • Vote Labour.

  • its quite depressing to the you swinging voters falling for all the tory shite they spew

    labour member and proud

    vote labour

  • Here here.

  • @JeanLucPicardMan This was one year ago!

  • @JeanLucPicardMan lolololol hurr durr I'm Mr Prudence... OH NOES DEBT CRISIS!

  • Perfect..

  • Such eloquence! Quick, send it to Tory HQ, "Labour are tits" should be their next election slogan.

  • I admit, I am rather blunt these days. I was merely referring to the low levels that political parties resort to to attempt to win votes these days, what with the Labour party's "Toff" campaign and this, and the Republicans' slandering of Obama in a "Clean" election campiagn.

It disgusts me to be fair, I don't want childish bickering, I want to know the policy available and how they could change our country if given four years in power.

  • Admirable. To be honest, I feel a lot more invested in US politics these days, partly because whoever their president is will actually affect the future of the planet, and partly because all our lot are so profoundly uninspiring. Have you ever seen anything more depressing than Brown and Cameron's pathetic playground scuffle in the commons last week over who has most in common with Obama? This is Thatcher's final victory - creating a political landscape where neither party stands for anything.

  • True. The Labour and conservative parties are far too similair, it wouldn't matter who we voted in. Whereas yes, in America it would make more of a difference. Which is why I actually cared about the Obama victory this month.

True, Brown and Cameron are like bloody children, and it sickens me. No wonder Britain is no longer seen as "That big a deal" in global politics when we're run by a bunch of immature copycats.

  • But remember the US Republican party probably wouldn't get a seat in the commons if they stood here. Their platform of guns and religion would just get laughed at, thats why all parties here scrap over the centre ground because the public is way more moderate and wouldn't accept crazy policies.

  • i like the Torys but there are more than the conservities and libdem and labour that dont get the air time they deserve

  • erm...what?

  • Tory all the way! Haha he called himself "dave", unlike what "tony" did haha! Silliy Labourites! Tory govt. should get 3 terms easy so chin up everyone! Just shows how pathetic Labour are really! Is funny though lol! Cameron for PM!

  • as a supporter of conservatives, I supposed to despise this video, but the video was simply too funny.

hah.... it now backfired. tory toff?

    cameron for PM

  • Labour are dicks

  • they are fuckin funny though!

  • Ah the conservative party - I love it.

    Best place to be! Why?

Because with them there wont be any nasty poor people around - holding their knives like pencils and smelling of turnips...

  • Here here!

  • Hear hear rather lol

  • I gave you a thumbs up for this on the assumption that the five thumbs down you already had were people who don't get irony. This is irony, right?

  • Some people have short memories. Can you not remember what it was like under Thatcher and Major? The destoryed working class communities. Now we're just jumping to the tories coz Labour havn't been all that great either [though not as bad as the tories]. But do you think a big business owner would jump from Tory to Labour? No. Because they still know they're the upper class and we're just mindless plebs who forget their past..

  • brother speaks the truth

    im with you big man!

  • Yeh after all, Thatcher cut taxes for the working classes. Slashed inflation which hurt the working classes. Allowed the working classes to buy their council houses. Created mass share ownership for the working classes. 90% of people were better off in 1990 than 1979. The only people who were worse off were the minority but of course socialism wants to make everyone worse off rather than help as many as possible.

  • Or how about; massive rises in crime, anti-Union laws, poll tax, black wednesday, police brutality...

  • Poll Tax- A mistake, they abandoned. Black Wednesday- A mistake, they fixed it. By 1997 the economy was in excellent shape. Now it is dreadful. Anti-union laws, yeh that prevented 10 000 miners holding the other 50million people to ransom. Police Brutality-what because of course they should have let the miners cripple the country-what about the elderly who froze in strike related power cuts? What about the working miners who were beaten by unionist thugs?

  • As for Labours record championing the working classes. Rises in tax for the poor whilst cutting tax for the rich. In some of the lowest tax bands the government have created a real tax burden of 95%, because thats the way to encourage people to earn more and better themselvs.

  • 10,000 miners? 10,000? Please. There were far more than that. 'Let the miners cripple the country'? No, they should have let them get on with what they were doing. Striking legally to defend they're jobs. Jobs which sustained communities for generations. People like you have no idea the effects caused by years of Tory mismanagement of working class areas. This is were you say your from a working class area, to which i'll reply, you or your father was a scab.

  • Oh ok so that would make it ok for your union thugs to beat him within an inch of his life for trying 2 feed his family, but if the police were 2 do that 2 you 4 sponging off the state, oo thats just out of order. I left a 0 off that 10 000 but its still a tiny number compared w/ the 50mill they wanted 2 bring down. Why is it that u are so selfish, why should everyone else in the country pay for the miners 2 keep their unprofitable jobs? Answer me that, why do they deserve other peoples money?

  • lol I thought people under 18 can't vote so if this is to influence young people it is failing hahahaha. Nah this is quite amusing, and I prefer the Tory policies than Liberal but that may all change.

  • Labour has done more for Britain in the last 10 years, than the conservatives have ever done. While I don't agree with some of their doings (Iraq), I truthfully believe that they are the lesser of 2 evils.

  • absolutley pathetic stunt, mind thats what happens when a party goes into the gutter. just to remind everyone it was for the local elections & Labour got hammered by David Cameron's Consevative Party.

  • ouch...and to think labours just ogne and robbed the tories of all their supposedly "nicked" ideas... the irony.

  • This clips tragic.

  • labour sucks they r wreaking our country.

  • Hmm, not as much as whoever taught you to spell...

  • LOL

  • He was taught Under Labour, thus proving his point.

  • How do you know he was taught under Labour?

Besides, I don't believe (I may be wrong) that there are any figures to prove that spelling has got worse under Labour. Besides, in education it's the early years that matter the most (proven by academics) so unless he was born in 1997, he would have been taught for one of the most important bits of his life (as I was) under a dying Conservative government.

  • Oh for god's sake, what I just said? It's called a "joke"

  • one thing Labour tend to avoid is the fact that we are robbing third world countries of their top staff.

all these nurses education etc was paid for by their poor homeland country, it cost their homeland country a fortune to tran these valuble people and then blair steals them and they desert their homeland. their counry is poorer and therefore even more want to leave to come to our country...think of this next time you see labour big wigs in africa

  • I think you'll find third world brain drain has been going on for a lot longer than Labour's time in power.

  • Woo. I loved this dig at Mr Cameron. Bet the Cabinet were splitting their sides over this, I was xD

  • The real Mr Cameron can now meet his alter ego! Who is becomming more real every day!

  • Looks like a certain Govenment party is very Desperate.

  • I just love the fact that the song is 'Karma Chameleon' and they emphasis on the lyrics "I'm a man, without conviction". I mean really, absolutely spot on.

  • i dont think they will though, i hope not! that will loose them all votes, then again, thats a good thing!

  • hahaha great stuff, its a good point, but what a great movie. if they do then we have to do something about it! RPG

  • Is it true they're gonna be turning this into a "Political Crazy Frog" with ringtones and stuff?
