These feel like part of the New Green, where "green" is the color of money. If it isn't cheaper, no one's going to do it. Hey Clayton, get yourselves to the State Capital and get them to re-write the 1960's zoning laws about "trailers" and "mobile homes" so we can have some alternative, cool houses like the very nice ones you show here.
We looked at purchasing one, no subdivision would allow it because they see it as a "trailer". We looked at land, getting one built on land we purchased etc, it was more expensive than buying a larger home, granted that it wasn't nearly as cool looking or unique. I still would love to own one.

local regulations won't allow one here. Pretty expensive to buy private land and that defeats the purpose.
