The light doesn't mean anything for ET and MPH. It's only there for reaction time. The timer doesn't start until the front tire passes the beam. So you can sit there all day once the light goes green and the time won't start.

Just to clarify the car at the time of this run was running stock headers, stock throttle body, stock suspension and a Vortech kit not a procharger kit and no nitrous. The reason we didn't mention the mods in the description is because this is a 5.0 Mustang & Super Fords magazine feature car. Out of respect for the magazine and it's editors we leave that info out so people purchase and read the magazine.

How much power and at what boost?

There's no way that car trapped mid 135mph all motor.. It would need about 650whp to net that kind of MPH. And, I don't see anything but a all-out race motor making that kind of power NA. So, how much nitrous are you spraying through it? I didn't hear a blower or turbo.

No nitrous for these runs. Vortech JT-Trim with the stock 6 rib belt setup. Once the 8 rib kit comes in the car will see 9's.

Well, @ 1:11 when intake tubes pop off it's usually because it is under boost. Also I know they do set up the suspension for drag to shave time off the E.T. but low 10's on an N/A 5.0 just doesn't add up.

Lethal, first off this is a great pass and i've got quite a few of your videos in my favorites but this one doesn't do it for me. I wish I would've seen ya'll show off the Boss on a road course where it was intended to go from Ford itself. Might as well put 5.0 on the side of this one and paint it blue like your other car running similar passes. It's just numbers and letters that now designates nothing for me here. GL guys, keep it up anyhow

As far as the Boss is concerned everyone has a different idea of what it should be used for. In my opinion it's just another mustang. Nothing to radical except for some weight savings, forged internals and the ability to rev it to high rpm's. One can say that it's only for the road course and others would say it should be kept in the garage. My opinion is that it should be beat on. In every way we can. Drifting, drag strip, street and road course. We intend to do them all.....
