  • 13:19 its the crimson chin!

  • 84% hardness my diameter is 62.

  • wow Tonya that's impressive.. i'm a fun!..

  • Self-centered, annoying bitch.

  • anyone else find it odd that this 10 minute photoshop facelift goes for 14 minutes? no just me?

  • u make me feel like a 3years old!

  • is this about your jonkers or about photoshop?

  • You're very narcissistic, do you know that? The first 1 and a half minutes you talk about yourself with pictures in the background?? Why?? Have you ever seen a person with tutorials who does that? But anyways, it's a nice tutorial...

  • I thought she was like 55 but with a sh*t load of botox in her face

  • @FoldedArt That's pretty much exactly what I thought. But, even 55 is a tad too young. When she said "How old do you think this woman is?" I immediately thought: "Early to mid-60s, with a but-tonne of plastic surgery." To the poster of this video: I'm sorry, but "35, 40, or so"??? There's NO WAY she looks anywhere close to that! 70, with a lot of plastic surgery, is believable. 35/40 is not.

  • fix nose !!

  • girl you seem nice.. and i took GD only by hand , and i learn photoshop on my own

  • I want to say something to you: NO ONE gets into HEAVEN without purity. ONLY THE PURE OF HEART will enter his kingdom. This might sound like it has nothing to do with this video, but you know why I'm telling you this.

  • iam downloadong cs4 right now , i have used cs2 a long time ago and would really like some free vid tuts, can you suggest any please?

  • I did a picture like this as you were talking and I did every step you said and WOW, it came out really good, thanks.

  • i think something is wrong! i freeze at 2:17 the before picture and wondering what's going wrong. why the hell a woman with so many wrinkles to her face have an absolute marvelous forehead, glowing cheeks, perfectly around the lips area ,a totaly clear chin and a fine neck? remember you told she's 70!!!! i am enlarging the picture and wow! that left side it's an awful MONTAGE! those wrinkles came from somewhere all right. then the job was easy.you dont fool anyone but yourself Tonya Fake

  • Some one's balls are about to drop

  • you should call it 30 years younger skin not younger face. I still can see an old lady with fine skin surface. but what about the eyes, nose, mouth, face shape, teeth, jaw line! do you really think all those are the same as they were when she was like 40! with less collagen and 30 years of gravity tissue and muscles goes down. and if you had an old and a new one head x-ray a doctor would say there is even a little change to the bone structure. do some research . great job to the skin again.

  • Wow I don't have Photo shop yet but it's far more complicated than I thought. I have touched up photos in the past using smudge to create shadows and to smooth out lines (from just a basic photo program that came with the computer) but now I feel a little intimidated - I guess practice would help - thanks for sharing this - it was interesting to watch.

  • good

  • I couldn't even watch the video. You talked a little too much at the beginning, sorry.

  • this doesn't look reaL ;S

  • that was really good! thank you for showing me how to do this.

i have never used the patch tool. i would have used the healing brush tool, and i would have failed haha

one problem (i know this is a tiny thing but i still noticed it) you can still see the tiredness in her eyes. they didnt look like young eyes. is there a way of making the eyes and the mouth look younger?

  • I'm so proud of you! This is great work. I'm new to Youtube and I'm starting to give tutorials to women over 40! I'm 62 and I haven't had any surgery done to my face, I've never smoked-tried to eat healthy and always used good facial products all thru my life. I'm always open to learning something new. This is awesome maybe I can use it. I have so much to learn about videos and I'm self taught. Maybe I can e-mail you with some editing questions? Thanks for sharing :)

  • i think surface blur is the best;

  • I like this because i want to design album covers

  • It was great to see a skilled tech at work. This was a finer moment.

  • Very informational, thank you!

  • I have always wondered what you did for a living besides youtube. Awesome!

  • Do you REALLY do world travel? Or is that photo-shopped?

  • oh, honey, you can't photo shop videos. LOL!

    Duncan Mitchel

  • didn't know you did graphic design...who woulda thunk it? lol

  • Drag 'n patch, drag 'n patch...Dragon Patch! =)

Hey Tonya, nice tut. I personally like to work with layer masks to be able to go back and redo, change or get rid off retouched effects in defined areas. It's just a lot cleaner. But I am only starting to learn how to work in this 'clean way'.

Which tuts do you like? I like IceflowStudios and tutvid the most. =) Apart from their channels, they have great websites, as well.

  • I worked with layer masks before, but have forgotten how. I dont airbrush for work. I do mainly print ads. I havent seen a tutorial in years. I could stand to brush up a bit... but why? I have no jobs which include airbrushing.

Are those tutorials above free? I just might look into them.

    -TKO

  • Yeah they are free on youtube

  • Yes, they are free on youtube AND their websites. On their websites they provide hi-res videos. It's absolutely awesome.

IceflowStudios covers mainly Photoshop. tutvid also goes into stuff like Flash and Dreamweaver.

Well Tonya, as you said in your video: Designing is so much fun. And feeling confident with layer mask does not only come in handy for retouching but lots of other stuff in Photoshop, too.

  • I mw

    ean any photoshop too :D

  • Im 24years old and I thing any operation don't help me coz I always smailing:D I have a lotr of wrinkles coz of my smail

  • This was awesome. I've just started using Photoshop and did not realize how effective the patch tool could be. I'll try this later. Can't promise I'll put up. : )

  • OMG! I love it Tonya! I love video production, and editing.... Do you have some tricks and secrets with editing videos to a masterpiece? I edit all my videos on my youtube channel. I have fell in love with it and currently attending college for a degree in it.

  • i think you should have used liquify instead of the smudge tool. I'm not too keen on the chin and there are some things I would have done differently but its a nice tutorial for beginners. good work.

  • Oh my goodness! you are so right. I wish you could have whispered in my ear b4 I did this tutorial, liquify is a much better tool to use. I'll have to add an annotation

    -TKO

  • On a last note, all though I am a graphic designer I am not a photo retoucher. I just thought this tutorial was fun. My specialty is print. I design ads :)

So if there are things you would have done diff, plz share. Im still learning, as an artform we can never know EVERYTHING, there are always ohter people's take and approach, so do a video, attach it. Id love to see your tricks

    -TKO

  • That was a wonderful tutorial. I would love to see more.
