@rickythompsonfilms Yes mate I did but it looks liek you did much more activies than what me and my mum and dad did. We just went on the neptunas and the half day tour to sal. And had plenty of coktails at the OGrill every night. Did you see the Capoeira entertainment on tuesday night? It was amazing, I even recorded all of it so I am going to upload the best bits soon. Only bad things in the hotel is the horrible sewage smell every day when the man waters the plants with recycled sewage water!
@rickythompsonfilms it is a cape verdean style of entertainment. There was entertainment every day at the Ogrill Bar from 21:45. It was advertised on the hotel information channel. You missed out on the capoeira it was so dramatic and entertaining. I am going to upload it anyway so you'll see it.
@rickythompsonfilms you probably didn't have time to as you did loads of stuff by lookinjg at the video plus you were only there for a week so you had a limited amount of time to do activities. But I tell you you really missed out on the capoeira, they had knifes at one point where they were fighting but the idea is like fencing. As the knifes were so sharp every time they collided you can see the sparkes flying in the air! Did you go to the Spices restaurant to eat dinner?

@catfreak190 Yeah the restaurants were really nice, especially the Odjo D'Agua hotel's one which is known as the best around. We stayed at that hotel last year before our villa was built. We ate breakfast in the villa (bought cereals, milk etc at the super market).

Whereas we liked the spices as it was a buffet therefore you can eat as much as you like. You stayed at the hotel last year? I swear Tortuga only just opened on the 10th May this year?

@catfreak190 We ate lunch in the grill place down at the beach, which im sure u know was free but we went to one of the restaurants in the hotel and they were going to charge us although we left cuz most of us didn't see anything we liked lol, it was all fancy finger foods. And no, the service in town was pretty quick, no slower than normal anyway :-)

@catfreak190 Yeah I had the burger at least 4 times lol. Im confused now...we didnt check out of the hotel, no lol. But they asked us for our room (villa) number when we went in and they charged our drinks to the room but we left after the drinks cuz we didnt see anything we liked. I missed ur last comment some how- yeah the Odjo D'Agua is a 4 star i think. The food is rly nice there and they have really good service. There was a nice Italian place on the eastern side of Santa Maria too.
@rickythompsonfilms cool, I am shocked that they charged for your drinks. Are you all inclusive? Or were you half board? If I were you mate I would have queried them by charging you for the drinks. The O'Grill didn't charge you for anything I suppose. I have heard that a lot of people prefer the morabeza to the melia tortuga.

@rickythompsonfilms oh thats the answer then mate. If your father ownes the villa that excludes you from the all inclusive package. Incase you don't know what all inclusive is. It is a package where you pay a fee per person for food and drink. The benefit is that you can eat and drink as much as you like without having to pay extra. I was drinking pina colada's from 10am till 2 am at the Ogrill bar lol. It shuts at 2am so...

@catfreak190 Yep, very lucky indeed, lucky for me too, since I get a free stay there if I go with friends =P. Yeah we flew from Belfast International to Gatwick then to Sal.

I was wondering because you put on your video that you stayed there from the 27th june until the 5th july. That's 8 days so did you have to stay overnight in gatwick to catch a flight back home to belfast?

The news are now confirming that it is a Sainsbury's depot. She was there last friday as she went to her work colleague's house for a party. I tell u mate if you're still up they are showing it live, it's a huge blaze. The biggest yet!
