  • fucking California law not letting us have automatic weapons, fuck u gun control

  • For Kaiser and country

  • I wish i could do cool shit like this D:

  • Fuck cali. and stupid laws

  • My family is Czech and My Dreat Grandfather was fighting in WWI. They were captured by the Russians (on purpose) because it was safer than fighting a cause they didn't care about. my great gandfather survived

  • my great grandfathers both died in ww1 :(...

  • i bet he is dead now right?

  • This is a very good simulation of the trenchwarfare.

Trench warfare is terrible. In WW1 the dead bodys of soldiers are just rotting away in the trenches. Arms, legs, etc. all over the battlefield, and you don't get any step further. It's all needless.

  • Only way to get step further is to have hundreds of men charging so enemy just cant shoot all of them. Sickness, all WW1 soldiers had to be lions.

  • Yeah, and brave. It's also pretty sad that allmost all the survivors had trenchfoot and a big trauma, or , like we call it in Holland, trench-syndrom.

  • Don´t forget, my friend, in the first day of the battle of the Somme, 23,000 brits were killed. They marched in thousands. Have you ever served? Greets.

  • guys, you been all killed by head shoots - most didn't got a second chance to stick their head above tranche line in fields of Flanders.

  • Doesn't matter, it was a public show, meaning its just a show for the public. They don't like just watching a bunch of guys sitting in a trench bored as a rock :P

  • Well you either reenact or you just play around and the reality wasn't clean nor fun back then. The solders in the tranches dug in to be safe from shells and hid till the next mass assault which meant the sure death for 80-90% of them, if not killed in a tranche raid or a gas attacks - so pure terror. History is not a big entertainment show, it is a teaching on the mistakes of the past we should not repeat.

  • Oh quite, I totally agree. Thing is, that's not what the public wants, and if we want to be invited back, we have to put on a show for the public. That was the single "big battle" we had to do, most of the day was spent doing our own thing with proper trench raids and such, mostly won by us germans, as well as digging in more, building steps and ladders, and leading in groups of the public to show them the things and teach them I assure you, our non-public events are correct to the T.

  • well, spend last years summer holidays in belgium and seen a couple french and german groups reenacting the battles in location, cleaned old lines - now for the show they had a narrator explaining the ongoing to the crowd while they presented a mass assault, sneak attacks/raids, snipping with german shields and development, barb wirring and tranche types - I bet you would like it there ;)

  • Hee hee, sounds like fun ;)

  • @Sideshowbobx calm down everyone reenacts mainly because they are history buffs.. and history always repeats itself.

  • @Sideshowbobx they dug in as make shift defences turned into their home for the next four years. Also this looks like what the western front would have looked like not the western you describe the western but think, they could be trying to re-enact the eastern front. Think before you comment.

  • @TheUltimatekill69 Gread advise, especially to yourself. Sniping wasn't limited to the western front nor looked the tranches different once the CO's figured that a textbook tranch line was a death trap. Due to that leason german tranch lines where littered with trash and bare wire to provide extra visual cover from the enemy. But hey, feel free to scholar me with your BS.

  • @Sideshowbobx i wasnt talking about the lay-out of the trenches i was talking about the intensity of the fire fight not the lay-out.

  • where they shooting blanks or air soft or somenthing

  • blanks. Airsoft guns do not sound like guns xD

  • @brendan10123 No, it's a realy ww1 video, taken in real video, with the camera man standing right in the line of fire.

  • awesome

  • Hey, that wasn't bad.

  • damn, cali sucks, cant have any fun, thank god i live in indiana where we dont give a shit

  • I didn't know the people of Verdun had K-cars!

  • Mudra uses his Gewehr 98.

  • Nice reenacting video. For those of you, however, who claim that this isnt really realistic....its not all the way, but its damn close. If we were to make it 100% realistic, not many of us would make it out of the first event. Its all about having fun with trying to be as authentic as possible

  • I do Civil War Reenacting, the only thing I think makes it seem more realistic is when an event has a pyrotechnic team working with us. Your retreating across a field as fast as you can and the canons fire sending dirt flying 60 feet into the air about 15 feet away from you. My first time experiencing that I must admit I felt like I was in a real war. What a rush! :D

  • @cudaman82 yeah unless its a movie they cant do artilery.

  • Interesting
