  • F**k man your really good. nicely explained lesson. i have been working on my single and double paradiddle for 10-15 minutes a day. After 3 weeks im noticing big improvement (unlike when i was trying to do them when i started playing drums). i feel rudiments must be imperative for me to advance in my playing as i have been playing for 4 years and i dont want to be 1 dimensional.Do you think that is plenty of paradiddle practicing to learn these grooves? thank you

  • @paulhab12 Thanks man! To answer your question - ABSOLUTELY! One fact that is important for musicians to remember is that music can be slowed down and worked on at one's own pace. Take your time, take it slow, and gradually increase your speed just like you have been doing with the diddles on your pad/snare and you can't go wrong.

  • Thank's ! It's a very good vidéo !

  • I like it.

  • Great video man, i've been playing for a good 4 years now and it's always refreshing to see great new patterns like these, thank you!

  • Great video, but please for the love of god fix the aspect ratio.

  • @NaotoNekoCutie Lmao! Yeah, I'm getting a whole new recording and editing setup so everything will be corrected by early January. Glad you dug the video though!

  • i actually really dont like your cymbals, thats why i like we have all different tastes

  • @Loutjuh1991 Exactly! Everything is not for everyone and as long as you realize that, you're good to go! :)

  • great playing!!

  • love your videos keep em coming :D

  • damn, i've played that lick before, but never as fast as at 3:04

  • Thumbs up !!

  • sound cool as a R&B lick during a breakdown, nice stuff!

  • I amazed at your epic skills... Will you teach me how to play?

  • what is that cymbal above the tom? i have never seen one of them before in my life

  • @millsbag That is called a Crash Course and it is a stacker made by Hammerax cymbals. It's actually four separate bronze plates that are stacked on top of one another and it is able to be tightened and loosened with the wing nut of the cymbal stand.

  • Glad that everyone is digging the lesson! For those of you who don't, rather than giving the video a thumbs down can you please tell me what it is that you don't like? That way I can try to do some things differently. Thanks!

  • Andrew, another great lesson! thanks!!!

  • after 2:57 was like a mini drum solo that shit was sick... also great lesson

  • Great tutorial and lick!
