Polly = tasty pastry! My all time favourite comedy this, followed by - Yes Minister - Rising Damp and Monty Python. I remember when my best mate told me he was off to watch Monty Python's Flying Circus while we were hanging about down the slip with some mates. I says to him. "What you want to go and watch a Circus for then?" thinking he'd gone around the bend. thanks for posting...wonderful writing, superb cast and a fantastic comic timing/acting. i was 12 when this was first broadcast but never weary of watching this. i've heard it said it was met with indifference by both the public and critics alike but i thought it was funny as anything i'd ever seen and there were some wonderful comedies in mid-seventies (Porridge, Rising Damp, Steptoe and Son)
