Some of the riders are pulling on the horses mouth so the horse gets angry. The horses that are stopping are just peeking and if the rider pressed they would have jumped it unless the horse was a stopper.

gotcha... yea... i have done that with my pony... sometimes he just bucks and i know if i tell him no hes gonna do it again but that usuially works... so id just take him in a tiny field and run him arround....lol! i had to ride gossip for 8hrs at one show...only 3 were "warming up" tho... haha cuz she gallops courses... if you get her energy out a bit she places really well...we got grand champ! lol so do u have your own horse now?

i had grade 4 spondylolisthesis, where your spine slowly slips off of your tailbone. i had 80 slip.

They don't know how it happened it could be related to riding, or it could've just happened, but i'm sure oreos buck-offs didn''t help much, lol

I remember when I used to ride a thoroughbred chesnut mare (not the best thing to ride!) Anyways she had a bad back and would allways buck. At the time I was 10 and I would allways stay on. I think she got me off 3 times in the year that I owned her. One time she threw me and kicked me right in the back afterwards. The other times she threw me, I would whistle and she would run back to me.

thanks for the advice but the first pony was actually just being bratty b/c he went around many other times that day and just decided he didn't want to do it anymore in that class :) and the horse on the lungeline was just crazy on the lungeline. He never did that with a rider on his back -- and the rest of the times I think the horses were just testing how well we could stay in the saddle.

no u didnt end it i did n actually 1 of the horses i have rn i did save, PayDay when i bought him he could barely walk, didn't even know how to trot or canter properly he had serve damage in his pole/left shoulder, it's been one year since i bought him and he's only now at the point he should have been at when i got him n the abuse came from Western Pleasure training which idc what anyone says can ruin any horse that is forced 2 do it so screw u my horses r my world start caring about urs more
