Bayonetta has long legs, every step she takes or action she does is graceful. She's gorgeous, but her soul existence does revolve around her being pretty. She has the power to summon demons from hell using hair to punch God's soul into the sun. She's more of a badass than any male character I've ever played.

Sexy != Sexist

Lets look at this another way. Look at Dante (Devil May Cry) or Kratos (God of War.) They are over the top and sexy in their own right. Hell, Kratos is wearning nothing more than a loin cloth and shoulder pads. No one is screaming sexism because they portray the "ideal" man; powerful, ass-kicking, etc.

I had more but work calls. Long story short: A sexy female character doesn't mean the medium is sexist. It just means it's a sexy female character.

Also, I believe her attack and her "climax" are homages to Japan's 70's anime "Cutie Honey". Bayonetta's "Climax" is like Cutie Honey's ultimate attack, which involves manipulation of surrounding molecules.

Long story short, I seriously doubt whoever made Bayonetta was sexist.

No harm done is asking. I see it very sexist. Take a look at how she stands, what normal person stands like that? When she is fighting, the longer your combinations are, the more of her clothes come over. I've never seen a game where that happens to a male characters. Her "Climax" attack.... It consists of her clothes coming off and then turning into shadows and killing the enemy. Yes...she does kick ass and is powerful, but she her clothes come off and she is put into poses where she is

How is this game sexist? Yeah Bayonetta is sexual for sure, but she's one of the most confident heroines in any game ever. She never shows fear and is always ready for action.

Also, this she butterflies come out of her instead of blood, and when she jumps she sprouts butterfly wings. This game screams feminism in many ways, and she's someone women could look up to.
