  • Preciosa, añorable, romántica...............César

  • Perfect tunes;)

  • Perhaps the most underrated big band of all time. I could be wrong but I believe Walter Winchell and he created a make believe fued much like Jack Benny and Fred Allen. It worked.

  • Dear friends, and especially 240252! This recording was recorded on May 31, 1928 by Ben Bernie and His Hotel Roosevelt Orchestra: Ben Bernie-vn, dir, Ed Smalle and Dick Robertson-voc,Donald Bryan, Bill Moore-t, Frank Sarlo-tb, Norman Ronemous, Len Kavash-cl, as, Jack pettis-cl,Cm,ts, Nick Gerlach-vn, Al Goering-p, Paul Nito-bj, vn, Max Rosen-bb, Sam Fink-d, Kenn Sisson - arr. GREAT and HOT version, the trumpet is fabulous.

  • i love this orchestra also; i many of his recordings, but i wonder if you have his version of "when polly walks through the hollyhocks"?if so, could or would you please post it? you have a marvelous collection and your presentation is the cats pajamas..ha. thanks.

  • Awesome and hot arrangement, thanks!

  • Love the clowning around, esp. the singer's. Suits my absurdist temperament to a "T"!

  • This is the hottest version of this often recorded tune that I've heard. Great non-stock arrangement.

  • One of my favorite bands and very hard to come by......thank you.....
