@AustAshR23 hi are you sure 30M as in METERS? coz i believe this cam is good for 10ft (feet). 10 feet is equivalent to 3048mm to be exact in case you dont know in meters thats 3Meters only... so are you sure 30Meters?
this is from the specs Waterproof (to 10m), shockproof (1.22m), freeze-proof (-10°C), dust-proof digital camera WOW i definitely buy this camera. Canon usually performs well
I am POSITIVE it is 30 METERS which is a little under 100ft, about 98 to be precise. I used that camera there and it was 30meters where we went under (so about 28meters more or less from where we were holding the camera). I have had the camera a year now and have have no problems. We bought this one specifically because it was one of the few camera that would go that deep

@blackevilkitty42 They are weighted helments (about 70lbs) they sit on your shoulders and work basically using the concept of sticking and empty cup upside in water. So there is water up to the bottom of your chin so you can't bend over forward or anything crazy like that. It is also hooked up for an oxygen line so you have a constant flow
you can stay underwater as long as you want time wise, but you can only go 30feet deep and you have to make sure you soak it in fresh water to get the salt off so it wont break
the sea trek workers said that that the water was about 33ft at the deepest point, so a little less than 33ft becase the camera was held at about shoulder height
what up with the astronaut

I see you are filming under water without the underwater film setting. The underwater setting doesn't record sound.
Have you made movies in both settings? I wonder if there are more differences between the settings except for sound.
CCNutella 1 year ago
@CCNutella- Yeah that wsa when we first got it but unfortunately I have not had much of a chance to go underwater to compare both settings

One thing i`m dispointed in video taping at 30 frames it should be at 60 frames 720p for extream smooth video.
