Sure, there can be an 'explanation' for the phenomena. But what are the odds, chances, and/or statistical probabilities that this was to happen at the precise moment where Moses was leading the slaves out of Egypt & called upon God for help? The very fact that it happened in that precise moment in time, alone, makes this even more of a miraculous occurrence. God didn't give us science in order to disprove His work, but to further appreciate its splendor & perfection.

Fascinating. This sounds very plausible. However there is much more evidence that supports the Bible besides what has been described here. Names, places and events that are described in the Bible are verified again and again by modern discoveries and contemporary scources. Even if this turns out not to be true, it would in no way shake my faith in the inerrancy of God's word.

This is great scientific proof of the Biblical account of crossing the Red Sea. How can people doubt the Bible, when there is scientific proof like this? Non believers are like the Egyptians, who were shown many miracles from Moses, but did not believe until their first born sons were killed in the final miracle. Non believers today will close their eyes to the truth, until they see the rapture, but then it will be too late for them. They must open their hearts and minds before they too parish.

@theodoriche if it didn't happen in nature, how could it be used as a witness to the Isrealites? Miracles take place in nature to demonstrate control over it to prove a Higher Power exists, how else could you? lol. That's the whole idea behind all the wonders of the Exodus story and scientists investigating the story are finding all the evidence one would expect plus some surprises. BTW, the original Hebrew is Yam Suph, not Red Sea, that was a later interpretation, even then it could include the Gulf of Aqaba, which happens to have a underwater land bridge perfect for walking across. But now that you mention it, let's also re-create macro-evolution and turn a frog into a prince. Talk about LOL.
