Sure, there can be an 'explanation' for the phenomena. But what are the odds, chances, and/or statistical probabilities that this was to happen at the precise moment where Moses was leading the slaves out of Egypt & called upon God for help? The very fact that it happened in that precise moment in time, alone, makes this even more of a miraculous occurrence. God didn't give us science in order to disprove His work, but to further appreciate its splendor & perfection.
Fascinating. This sounds very plausible. However there is much more evidence that supports the Bible besides what has been described here. Names, places and events that are described in the Bible are verified again and again by modern discoveries and contemporary scources. Even if this turns out not to be true, it would in no way shake my faith in the inerrancy of God's word.
"'Christian scientists..best example of a oxymoron"
Ah the shining example of ignorant atheist mythology. Nearly all modern science was founded by Christians my benighted friend (Newton Maxwell Faraday Copernicus Planck Galileo Mendel Linnaeus Kepler Boyle Ray Bacon Kelvin Leibniz Pascal Pasteur Boyd). You wouldn't even be on a pc right now spewing your garbage if it wasn't for your little "oxymoron." Atheists are thankless leeches of science mindlessly attacking the very fountainhead of it.
This is great scientific proof of the Biblical account of crossing the Red Sea. How can people doubt the Bible, when there is scientific proof like this? Non believers are like the Egyptians, who were shown many miracles from Moses, but did not believe until their first born sons were killed in the final miracle. Non believers today will close their eyes to the truth, until they see the rapture, but then it will be too late for them. They must open their hearts and minds before they too parish.
@theodoriche if it didn't happen in nature, how could it be used as a witness to the Isrealites? Miracles take place in nature to demonstrate control over it to prove a Higher Power exists, how else could you? lol. That's the whole idea behind all the wonders of the Exodus story and scientists investigating the story are finding all the evidence one would expect plus some surprises. Atheist zealots freak out subconsciously realizing they're delusional so they spew out myths, curse & get blocked.
Sounds easy enough...they should then re-create this "strong persistent wind" event using wind generators to generate 63 mph winds running those machines for 12 hours non stop....let's see if this parts the red sea or any sea for that matter...LOL
@rgmartin2003 sure, easy enough, got the funds? Similar phenomena happens at times called "wind setdown." BTW, the original Hebrew is Yam Suph, not Red Sea, that was a later interpretation, even then it could include the Gulf of Aqaba, which happens to have a underwater land bridge perfect for walking across. But now that you mention it, let's also re-create macro-evolution and turn a frog into a prince. Talk about LOL.
@kenne Like I said, they LEECH the innovations of the giants, nearly ALL Christians, a few deists, etc. The scientific method was established by Francis Bacon for crying out loud. Atheist are force-fed evolution in with soviet-style education in public schools with tax dollars before they're old enough to think for themselves (most religious people fall into this trap too), programmed into socialism, hence Marx depended on Darwinism & we have the sham Scopes Trial by the communistic ACLU.
@kennegun and where does tin foil hat fit into your red herring one-liner? You apparently think the Torah is an enormous conspiracy perpetrated by an entire nation passed on to their children all at once which still persists to this day among Jews around the world. So excuse me while I laugh in your face! lol!
@AllOtherNamesUsed I concede. I cannot argue with your flawless logic. You've convinced me that magic really is responsible for creation. Sir, I humbly bow to your wit.
@kennegun TVs would've been called magic 300 years ago out of ignorance. The founders of our modern science were men who took the scriptures serious and their investigations into it led to the technology we have today and atheists leech off of while trying to stop more investigations into the bible calling it magic out of sheer ignorance. The proof is in the pudding, but emotionally, atheists don't like it.
@AllOtherNamesUsed Modern scientists are mostly atheist, agnostic or the very most deists. Science is to christianity what kyrptonite is to superman. For the rest, I think slippy441 put it best.
@AllOtherNamesUsed Modern science founded by christians? Back then people were murdered by the church for heresy as a result of practicing science! Nicolas Copernicus (and Galileo) was nearly put to death by the church for discovering that the earth orbited the sun. Today you argue against evolution and and any other discoveries that threaten your dying cult. You think that the earth is 6000yrs old and that evolution says that monkies turned into people right? Right? lol.
@slippy44 "Modern science founded by christians?"
You mean you didn't even know that?! I even named names! The denial is frightening! And you expect me to seriously entertain your other falsehoods you compound with this premise? You DON'T know history either. Pagan Rome hijacked early Christianity after they failed to stamp it out. WELL KNOWN HISTORY. The CHRISTIAN REFORMATION threw off pope's yoke (who was slaughtering Christians &burning bibles!) leading to political freedom, wealth & SCIENCE
Copernicus/Galileo openly believed the scriptures, NOT the papacy - who openly push Evolution now! They're the ones who historically brought it to prominence in the universities through their Jesuit professors! LOL you're Catholic trained & don't even know it. You just don't know how the world works, regarding politics, history (secular or christian), science and so on. We live in a modern hi-tech dark age and you are the perfect model citizen, laughing at the truth to your own destruction.
@AllOtherNamesUsed We dont live in a dark age. Contries ruled by religion are living in a dark age, take muslim countries for example- many believe the earth is flat. You're a fucking psycho! Go protest soldiers funerals with the Westborrow babtist church, its where you belong. You dont have to believe in the science, it doesnt matter. All it means is that you are getting left behind.
@slippy44 Your filth is being removed if you keep up. You are the typical airhead atheist who can't stand being faced with the truth so shout like a child. Comparing Islam with Christianity only proves you are not qualified to even be having this discussion. Darwin taught that death was the way toward high life forms and Communism used this pseudoscience to wipe out over 100 million souls, Hitler adopted it too. Leonard Darwin was head eugenicist too. So just keep your ignorance off this board.
@AllOtherNamesUsed Science moved forward IN SPITE OF, not because of religion. The church tried to supress Copernicus and Galileo! And you continue to do it today, only now its evolution. And none of the discoveries by these people had anything to do with religion. And denial?? WTF are you talking about? And yeah, look at the history, science and religion collided even back then...dumbass:)
@slippy It's as if nothing I said went in your head. Do you understand, both Copernicus & Galileo were ardent bible believers, would you like to read them? You cannot rewrite history to fit into your world of lies and expect others to go along with it. They were in opposition to the old Greek views of the universe that Rome had adopted (it was THE belief of the day among all, not just Rome btw). You have it ALL backwards - this same institution has PUSHED evolution & openly proclaim it! lol
@slippy441 Perfect example of ignorance masquerading as indignation. Sorry, you're brainwashed and that's why you're have to talk trash. Men like Newton and Kepler and others were very adamant that they were "thinking God's thoughts after him", they sought to understand God's mind in nature. You can never ever accept that and so you embrace modern atheist MYTHS to soothe your conditioning. Deal with it. Mendel fought Darwin's ignorant "blending" when he discovered genetics HIJACKED by your fraud
@slippy441 Science moved forward IN SPITE OF, not because of religion" Yes, I understand you believe in myths despite the historical record and the admission of the very founders of the fields of science itself. I'm not interested in your ignorant talking points and mantras. Here's reality:
"God is known by nature in his works, and by doctrine in his revealed word." -Galileo Galilei
You can't handle reality. Go spread your ignorance somewhere else, it is not welcome here.
