Hi. it is called a Specialized Mudflap Shock Protector, it stops all the mud and grit ect from going into the Eye of the shock and keeps it clean.

I got mine from Bike Scene i think it was 6 or £8 it is well worth the money.

It is a 2007 Specialized FSR XC PRO, all of the parts that are on this bike in this video (Do Not Come on the Bike Standard)

It has been Upgraded with Mostly Shimano XTR + Fox forks, my mam and dad bought me the parts as Birthday and Xmas Gifts, and it now has a Thomson Elite X4 Stem.
