This is right over the top of my house. 35 seconds into the video, you see Lancaster Road and to the right is my wheelie bin :D. You can also see my mums house 5 doors up.
i heard it was to do with some important russians coming to visit the Queen, it must be something special as their in class A airspace and below 3500 feet
Hmmm quite mysterious, the accompanying planes look like Learjets, which begs the question why would Learjets be accompanying a wee beastie like this. If someone really important was on board - I dont imagine Learjets would be the accompanying planes. Maybe it was some kind of test flight, and the learjets were monitoring / filming. On the second pass towards the end it looks like something is protruding from the bottom of the main plane.
I live in Maidenhead and remember seeing this, didn't realise it was a whole two years ago though! Still no idea to this day what exactly it was.

I saw this right over Cookham about 5pm
Very random flight plan About 2'000ft cutting across the H4 helicopter corridor here.
No media coverage! Hijack interception practice perhaps? Great Video
I have only just spotted it....Thanks

Great video of an unusual sight in Maidenhead. Saw it myself and thought it was very odd.

I've been trying to find out what this was with no luck. They went round and round for quite a while. Good vid.
