I think that the reason that people view ecstasy as a harmful drug is because people that do ecstasy sometimes do other "party drugs". Some people that have done ecstasy choose to try more harmful drugs like cocaine. That's more than likely why the public views ecstasy as "harmful".

The big problem with this list is that apart from alcohol and tobacco most of these drugs have to be obtained illegally. Thus their productions aren't regulated and while pure MDMA (ecstasy) might be considerably less hamrful than alcohol, when you buy it on the streets, you can never be sure what the actual contents of the pill you get are!

@SparkPlugMovies1 Cannabis is more subtle in the damage that it does. Where alcohol will mess up your liver and heart and so on, cannabis will do more damage physiologically. A friend of mine is an prime example of this.

The big problem with this list is that apart from alcohol and tobacco most of these drugs have to be obtained illegally. Thus their productions aren't regulated and while pure MDMA (ecstasy) might be considerably less hamrful than alcohol, when you buy it on the streets, you can never be sure what the actual contents of the pill you get are!

yes its the typical eyeballing effect ecstacy causes, i remember playing gta san andreas on the xbox flying with the jet plane and c0s of my eye- shifting from left to right, i triggered a hallucination in which the plane actually flew out of the screen when i suddenly looked to the left and also steered the plane to that same direction. A sudden move to a direction while u were eyeballing and focus on a random point is hallucination improving when ure on MDMA

I'm nots saying its harmless because all drugs that there risks but it carries the least risk. And all recorded deaths iv'e heard of have been from drhydration/over drinking an alergic reaction to the drug or they were epileptic and the MD causes a sezier. But in no way am i saying mdma is harmless just safer than cannabis but bare in mind im talking about pure mdma if its cut with stuff then it obviously isn't going to be a safe drug.

Most people i've come across say they find it difficult to work the next day so they mostly prevent the use of MDMA before work time.

Most people stick to smoking, which makes it quite harmful to ones health... This behaviour is something I will never be able to comprehend.

I only stick to smoking because you gotta put like 80 times more weedstuff in a cake and tea is merely relaxing. I can comprehend someone smoking weed(1-3 joint a day) better than someone who smokes a pack of cigarettes a day.
And mental wise, smoking one joint is way less harmful than taking a cap of
pure mdma since a joint wont drain your serotine reserves. I had the purest mdma men can get, it had a certain hospital smell, crystal form. NO DOWNSIDES. Use With Caution. Be well.

@brothachand Turned her from someone who used to be real friendly and chatty to someone that's nearly impossible to talk too, nearly no personality, incredibly moody, and so somewhat apathetic.
Now I will say this, I do cannabis sometimes myself (maybe one joint a week or two), but she's a chronic user (couple a day, nearly every day of the week). You just couldn't trust the public to use it in moderation if it were made legal, hence why it should be kept illegal.

because people have eaten other people on PCP! it's easily the most dangerous to the people around them. and it's addictive. on number 5, i was kind of split between the two (alcohol and cocaine) but decided that alcohol was easier to get, and pretty much even for the rest of the criteria.

No, its based on widely social acceptance of a substance within a society. The bigger the society, the more alcohol becomes accepted but hypocritical enough, the bigger the circle of society, the higher becomes the (illegal) availability range of most drugs within that circle.
