  • Underrated? Are you kidding me, Seven has 1 millions views on You Tube...

  • @snowwhitesdildo Justin Bieber has like 685x that. That kinda puts it into perspective, as SDRE are at least 685x better :(

  • @snowwhitesdildo to be fair, it was on Guitar Hero 5. which basically cherrypicked songs from each genre. most people won't have taken the time to listen to the rest of sunny day real estates awesome discograpy and just listen to seven :(

  • Yeea Roy! sounds so great for an old low qual recording.. haha ruleage!

  • they are not underrated as much as unknown... they are amazing to bad for those who will never know.

  • Thank god I bought Foo Fighters Back and Forth. I never woulda heard of these guys

  • @TNA796 me too... i think

  • I just saw them at HOB @ anaheim... omg super incredible. I've been into this band ever since I was in high school. I would've never thought I'd ever see them live.

The drummer was so precise and he sings way better now obviously. I'm just glad to see all the original members were there. :D

Hope you guys get the same opportunity as me. check their tour dates.

  • One of the greatest bands ever. Whenever I listen to their music I just go, "Oh hell yes." :)

  • are you kidding me?? im so glad i found out about the reunion in time

  • Do a google search of Sunny Day Real Estate and their site comes up. Can't wait to see them again. Such a great band

  • wtf is that chord at 1:49??? doesn't sound like thats what he's doing...

  • I don't know any chords but there are two guitarist and Jeremy is just playing rythem guitar... at that part.

  • I cried watching this... I so. Fucking. Badly want to go to their reunion tour. This is so unfair :( Why can't it be a world tour?

p.s. LOL Dan is such a dirty fucking hippie.

  • where do you live? they might be coming to you

  • already got my tickets to see them in DC! its going to be so epic!

  • They are playing some overseas shows. I think there going to be with Faith No More and Janes Addiction in Australia. What a show that would be. Check out pollstar for tour dates.

  • this is one of my favourite songs ever, they are so underrated

  • you are so right! we need more bands like this and no gay emo shit!

  • They are considered an emo band, you idiot.

  • yeah i know that... im saying that personally their not emo.. i know them so just chill out a bit

  • That's right. Some of the original emo

  • haha what a tool

  • @liamberry08 but the ygot emo into the mainstream. don't think they are underrated

  • Incredibly powerful voice, even outside of the studio

  • ah fucking amazing

  • An absolutely beautiful upload.

  • I just traveled back in my time-machine to the club and it was not dv8.

  • It may have been at The OZ, that's what the club was called before it was changed to DV8. Dave Grohl was in the auduience checking them out, I guess he liked the band and wanted the Bass and Drums for himself..

  • I think this was in Seattle at a place called DV8. They played with Shudder to Think and Soul Coughing. I had just graduated from high school and had read an article in a Seattle paper called The Rocket. It had Jeremy on the front page playing his Gibson SG, wearing the same white T. In the article they would not do any interviews so the writer gave his view of the Band. After reading this and seeing that pic on the cover I went out and bought Diary without even hearing it, One of my favorite's

  • Almost positive this is The Bottleneck in Lawrence, KS. Check my Vid response for '98 version.

  • No I know this was in Kansas, but I don't know the venue.

  • Great !!!

  • desearia tener una maquina del tiempo...................... solo escuchar con eso me consuelo

  • Yo daría lo que fuera por poder viajar en el tiempo y poder estar en un sólo video de estos... Sería "feliz"

  • Does anyone have the rest of this show? I'd be eternally grateful if you uploaded it or gave me a link:).

  • This band has played such a huge role in my life, their music is amazing.

  • sounds amazing

  • i miss them...

  • @UglyOrgan8038 theyre making a new album :P

  • OMG THIS IS SO AMAZING

  • super!

  • the reason why i play music

  • I was 8 months and 3 days when this konsert was. HOLY SHIT XD

  • i was 2 years and one month :)

wish i was born earlier :(

so much good music in 80's 90's you know :3

  • I was two years and like 10 days!

I wish I was born earlier too, 1994 was a great year for music, for all genres. I wish I could have been old enough to really experience it.

  • This band changed my life.

  • wow... brings back memories i was at that show about 8 er 9 people from the stage

    so stoked

    thanks for adding this

  • What venus is this at?

  • @ganstamannirvana93 its at the venus is carlyle district off 9th. soo sick man. bout 8 er 9 people from the stage. thanks

  • Meet me there...

  • Where exactly is this being performed at?

  • this band is like unheard of

  • wow..94 ? dammit..the year we lost kurt cobain and they come in the business..

  • i think it would have been too much for the world with both of them rocking as hard as they did

  • fucking awesome.

  • Does anyone know what he is singing at 3:36? Cause in the studio version of the song this is just like a solo.

  • cause he can do what ever he wants, no one said you have to mimic the album live, thats why it's live.

  • that doesnt answer him at all

  • "you've opened my eyes when i was sleeping.. ..blahblahblah.." ..don't remember the rest.

  • lol alot of the time it just sounds like eeeeeeeeeoooooooohhhhhhhhaaaaaaaaaaaahhhheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee whenhe sings. Jeremy still rules though.

  • god... i wish i had a time machine too :(

  • I must say I agree with you guys. I love emo when it was actually good, none o' this Panic! or Fallout Boy crap. Sunny Day Real Estate did it right.

  • Excellent video! Great quality and sound for 1994! Thanks!

  • a wonderful song, and quite an incredible performace

  • I love the way he screams "I go!".

  • Beautiful music. The instrumentals are excellent.

  • what an amazing band!

  • if more people knew what true emo was then they would respect it more. but how can people respect it when they think its panic and fall out boy. great song btw always takes me to a special place when i listen to it cause it is so mesmeriseng.

  • I was at this show. Shudder to Think and Shiner were also on the bill. I'd kill to see any of those bands again.

  • i believe it was shudder and bad brains

  • That's the coolest billing ever. I wish I could have seen this show.

  • I had the chance to see them with Velocity Girl around this time in Cleveland. I still kick myself for missing that show. I think I went to see some AmRep band instead.

  • That would have been a really difficult choice for me too.

  • SDRE. I love you.

  • Why cant stuff be like this, bring back second wave emo.

  • Fuckin ay

  • Only got into this for like one week, and im already loving it. Man, i wish emo is STILL this good.

  • WOW! This is great! Look it's Nate Mendle on bass! lol...god i love this band

  • thanks for sharing.

  • YES. musical perfection. shut the fuck up anyone who disagrees with me. SDRE's music is the perfect blend of melodic distorted chord progressions, meaningful vocals and clean sections, it's just all so perfectly done it makes me want to cry, or at least jump for joy.

  • Melodic distorted chord progressions? Meaningful vocals? Clean Sections? Blended?

Sounds like you'd enjoy the Smashing Pumpkins. If you haven't already tried em', you oughtta grab yourself Siamese Dream and Melloncollie.

  • yes i am huge Smashing Pumpkins fan, and SDRE has really caught my attention. this is the emo i actually enjoy listening too. the stuff we call emo today doesn't compare to these guys.

  • i love this song

  • uh this is emo. before it was contorted to this crap we call emo today

  • Yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

  • yaeh so emo

  • I LUV THIS SONG

  • sweet

  • awesome

  • Oh man, didn't think I could find a video this old
