@snowwhitesdildo to be fair, it was on Guitar Hero 5. which basically cherrypicked songs from each genre. most people won't have taken the time to listen to the rest of sunny day real estates awesome discograpy and just listen to seven :(
I just saw them at HOB @ anaheim... omg super incredible. I've been into this band ever since I was in high school. I would've never thought I'd ever see them live.
The drummer was so precise and he sings way better now obviously. I'm just glad to see all the original members were there. :D
Hope you guys get the same opportunity as me. check their tour dates.
They are playing some overseas shows. I think there going to be with Faith No More and Janes Addiction in Australia. What a show that would be. Check out pollstar for tour dates.
Jeremy said on Icons Of Punk that there's a very large possibilty that they will reunite and that he and Nate really, really want to. Don't give up hope just yet!
It may have been at The OZ, that's what the club was called before it was changed to DV8. Dave Grohl was in the auduience checking them out, I guess he liked the band and wanted the Bass and Drums for himself..
I think this was in Seattle at a place called DV8. They played with Shudder to Think and Soul Coughing. I had just graduated from high school and had read an article in a Seattle paper called The Rocket. It had Jeremy on the front page playing his Gibson SG, wearing the same white T. In the article they would not do any interviews so the writer gave his view of the Band. After reading this and seeing that pic on the cover I went out and bought Diary without even hearing it, One of my favorite's
if more people knew what true emo was then they would respect it more. but how can people respect it when they think its panic and fall out boy. great song btw always takes me to a special place when i listen to it cause it is so mesmeriseng.
I had the chance to see them with Velocity Girl around this time in Cleveland. I still kick myself for missing that show. I think I went to see some AmRep band instead.
YES. musical perfection. shut the fuck up anyone who disagrees with me. SDRE's music is the perfect blend of melodic distorted chord progressions, meaningful vocals and clean sections, it's just all so perfectly done it makes me want to cry, or at least jump for joy.
yes i am huge Smashing Pumpkins fan, and SDRE has really caught my attention. this is the emo i actually enjoy listening too. the stuff we call emo today doesn't compare to these guys.
Underrated? Are you kidding me, Seven has 1 millions views on You Tube...
snowwhitesdildo 2 months ago
@snowwhitesdildo Justin Bieber has like 685x that. That kinda puts it into perspective, as SDRE are at least 685x better :(
