I find it frankly surprising that anyone would be shocked at the excesses and corruption of the Catholic and other faiths. The Catholic faith however is replete with violence, torture and blood. The Cathar’s and the Knight's Templar’s would certainly concur I am sure with this view. What perhaps is more frightening is the fact that this information is so hard to find even in the Internet Age, one might conclude that the power of such a church is not yet spent. He was callous to all those murders. One third of Nazis were Catholic. He could have done so much, but he did nothing until the Germans were on the verge of invading Italy.

sfsoler, I have read the historic facts. Pope Pius the 12th only started saving Jews when the Germans were storming into Italy and there was so much pressure on the Vatican to DO SOMETHING.
Until that time, he RESISTED doing the least little thing to help the millions of Jews, homosexuals, communists and others who were being sent to the concentration camps.
It may be hard to accept that Pope Pius the 12th was anti-Jewish, but he did nothing for years when he could have done a lot.
