  • thanks for the quick easy tasty recipe!=)now i have my yummy lunch

  • Could you show how to make Gai pad chaa? A recipe for it is really hard to come by. Thank you very much.

  • Now why in the world did the instructions say 1/3 cup of cooking oil when he only added 1 tablespoon...is it misprint?...I hate this ....

  • This is from his recipe book. I myself use 1 tablespoon. Most Thai people like to use more oil because they fry an egg in the pan first in the 1/3 cup of oil. They then put the egg over the top of the Gra-praw.

  • Wow I'd like to use something like this for my food stand. I'm not thai but this looks so simple to prepare. Can I use seseme seeds and shrimp. If so what kind? Also I would wanna use peppers and rice.

  • yum

  • that look good

  • If I don't have basil what can I use? Mint? Mint and basil taste almost the same right?

  • Give it a try but it won't be Thai. Mint might be a little strong so I would use less.

  • Don't use mint use normal basil. This is holy basil (kapraw) and nothign like mint.... Thai / Sweet basil (horapa) has a mint flavour to it but is nothing like Holy Basil......

Also if your cooking at home in a wok use a bit of chicken stock and throw in some chopped onions and green peppers ;)

  • Hi, Can I make the same thing but with more viges and shrimps?

    Thanx

  • The combination of spics does not work well with fish or shrimp.

  • Thanx

  • Great thanks man!
