well at least it wasn't at as bad as what happened to my grandfather. He got hit in the head with a pitch in his first minor league at bat. He walked down to first base, they put in a pinch runner for him and he walked off the field and went on to become a college tennis star.

whats up man, it was not intentional. It actually happened in an intrasquad game. It didn´t really hurt that bad, probably because of the adrenaline rush I had. Indeed I actually wanted the pitcher to know that I am not mad that this happened cause he had to deal with it too. The rehab was quite painful and I had to go through one of the worst months in my life because of all the stitching I had in my nose. I had a hard time breathing and when the doctors removed the stuff out of my

nose, it didn´t really feel great either. The angels attached a little extension to my helmet to give me more protection but I was even afraid to get hit in BP. I actually hit a double my first ab in the season, 1st ab after the incident but never got comfortable in the box that year. so i got released.
