Not to sound mean or hateful although children across the world need good homes as well as children here it is by far cheaper and has less regulations to adopt a child from another country than it would be to adopt one here in the USA so maybe thats why they adopted there instead of here who knows and who cares a child is loved here thats all that matters!!

Its actually not easier, the waiting list, meaning going through proper channels takes a long time, sometimes 2-3 yrs if you want a newborn.

Do-gooders actually perpetrate a lot of bad in the world, in particular stealing away the future generations of other countries and taking children far away from their heritage and extended families. However, some people like me are called to help American children. Others are called to help foreign children. Both are legitimate needs and both are good.

No one is truly gene wise American.Maybe they choose international adoption because it can be more secure without all the legal issues.
