This is nothing like the Green Lantern: First flight will look like. It isn't even a stand up coaster. It will be an Intamin 'ZacSpin' roller coaster. The first of its kind in the U.S. The only other roller coaster like this is in Sweden. So this video is highly inaccurate.

Its nice and long, but you get absolutely zero roller coaster atmosphere. No weightlessness feeling or anything. It's like standing in an elevator that goes forward instead of up and down. It's decent but when this puppy opens and the lines are long, I wouldn't wait more than 30 minutes for it.

I went on it today. Worst fucking experiance of my life. first they made an announcement to stand and not bend your knees so i did. Then my legs were in so much pain that I had to try sitting down but then the thing under your legs kept bashing my balls so basically I was in massive pain the entire ride

I plan on going to six flags great adventure on wednesday the 25th or thursday the 26th of may. The Green Lantern opens on the 25th, and i want to know if it will be much more crowded that day. This is around the time i went last year, and it wasnt crowded at all, and i a woundering if this ride opening then will make much of a difference. Thank you for any information you can give me.

It may have a bunch of school trips, but you will be ok. Just don't wait in line for more than 30-40 mins for this. It's actually more painful than fun. They missed the boat here. The idea of a standup coaster sounds interesting, but when you get on it, there is zero weightlessness or roller coaster feeling. It's a long ride which is nice, but its actually too smooth. You are standing and not really feeling like you are moving.

u guys dont get it if you go to six flags web site u will see that each seat is a standup but that are free to rotate 360 degrees so you are rolling in a circle as the roller coaster goes on thumbs up so everyone can see

Actually Chang (Now Green Lantern) opened first in 1997 and Riddlers Revenge came to Magic Mountain a year later. And as for Mantis at Cedar Point... Green Lantern broke all its records when it debuted as Chang in 97. Riddlers Revenge later broke Changs records when it opened. I rode Chang a few times when I went to SFKK. Its a great ride. Im sure its gonna be even better as Green Lantern.

You just had to avoid the red train and you would have a good ride. I miss scream machine and wish i could have had one more ride on it before they took it down
