@krukvlad Just wrote a paper on this. It's a highly politicized issue in Ukraine, mostly divided along ethnic lines (ethnic Russians against ethnic Ukrainians). Former President Yushchenko was quite adamant about Russian guilt in the famine and had laws passed declaring the famine a genocide (and proposed a law criminalizing denying that the famine was a genocide). However, the pro-Russian faction of current President Yanukovych opposed those measures and is more conciliatory towards Russia.

Slavachka1; i downloaded this movie and read a lot about the j-w boleshevik's responsible for it. i have a freind that moved to cevestapol and we talk over skype a lot. the ukrainians seem to be a great people. my freind says that most just look at it as a dark time in their history and just want to forget about it and move on. any educated person knows what happened there and othe mass murders by the j-ws. i'm of german decent, and millions of germans died because of them after wwll.
