I use Magix Video 17 for editing and compositing. The program also displays some effects, allows many transformations and combos of them. Apart from these, I also use some free effects (fire, water...) I found on sites like detonationfilms and some other I dropped on by chance.

I don't have a particles effects program, so far, so I have to find other solutions. But all the effects I use are transformed when editing, in a way or another.
