I know that a lot of Jewish people don't believe in spaying and neutering because of the Biblical command to "Be fruitful and multiply", but when the population is out of control like this, does it really still apply? Thank you so much for your work in TNR (trap, neuter, return). It does so much good for the cats! Thank you so much!

Congratulations. You are doing a wonderful deed. Are there a lot of stray cats in Israel? I know that other middle eastern countries have large colonies of stray cats. Are there animal protection groups in Israel that take care of stray cats or is it mostly up to individual people with kind hearts?

sadley there are many feral cats in israel (about 2 millions some say). only few of them are being fed ans spayed by individual people like myself.
