OK. So this looks pretty dope. I am in the need of a really sick filter... but I am wondering if I should just do it and buy a mutron III... or if I should go with this. This fucking blows away the qtrons and dr q. no comparison.

@alexcaminiti Get a mutron III if you're willing to pay through the nose for it. A used one on ebay is about $700. I'd recommend this one or the Qtron+ though.

@Iliketacos091 I got an enigma and am really happy with it. It still leaves me wanting a mu-tron, because, well... let's face it. Nothing is a mutron. Nothing. But this is a seriously dope pedal with a lot of sonic options. It works really well with guitar, too. Super thick and funky... even kind of strange and weird at times. +1 for the enigma. Another job well done by EHX.

Little question. how do you think this would sound combined with a dunlop wah pedal for bass?

It will sound strange. But with the blend control, it could work.

Besides you can use the QBalls as a Dunlop Wah if you want, thanks to the expression pedal input.

I have one of these and it kicked the crap out my other env filter. Didn't replace my distortion/fuzz pedal but its a kickin envelope filter! Lots of options, great sounds - it helps you get funky real quick!
