  • what head did you use?

  • Dude good job I bought this kit back In 2009 and I love the sound

  • dude did you tuned that kit? cause it sounds freakin amazing

  • @WhyCryxD I just did a quick tuning before i took this video, They are just great drums, i don't think alot of people know about this kit

  • how do you find 22x17 kick in rock/metal ?

  • @MichalSzymanski98 i find that 20 is more for jazz and a 24'' or a 26'' is too big and could interfere with the height and placement of toms. the 24'' or 26'' will give you a powerful, cannon type bonham like sound. For rock and especially metal kick sound, you want that short attack, clicky sound that Chris Adler from Lamb of God or Derek Roddy. This sound can be achieved by placing the bass drum mic close to the batter head, pointed right at the beater and using the proper dampening and eq

  • @MichalSzymanski98 Smaller drum = more punch. You don't want a powerful, boomy kick for those styles. A large majority of drummers in your genre are now moving down to the 20" size to get a nice punch.

  • @sickbo121 yeah, gotta love that 8'' tom

  • Yamaha Tour Custom, Made In Indonesia. So proud of it. :)

  • Set sounds awesome man...love that little tom.

  • The EC2 heads put the good quality shell and better than "just acceptable" tuning job over the top . The drums sound good. Best of luck with your listing!
