I lost a lift bag with about a dozen brass bricks from the Hebe about 30 years ago. They where probably only a 100 yards from the stern. We couldn't free the anchor in time to retrieve the lift bag and it sunk. Are you still finding any bricks?
Well if you you leave the artifacts on the wreck they will probably break and rot away so no one can see them, but if you take them of the wreck and preserve them everyone for years can see them
probably no portholes because they were all removed! . leave the stuff there for more divers to see! that was such a great video until you carted all that away geez 10 divers X 36 bottles =........
I don't know about the Hebe, but many of the wrecks here in NC were wire dragged, depth charged (during WWII), and are strewn all about. Many of the portholes we have found, weren't even on the wrecksite proper, and buried in the sand. So, just how many divers are going to enjoy seeing what they have no idea how to find?
There are still many artifacts to be uncovered. One trip this summer yielded over 36 of the large and the short beer bottles. There are also many of the green poison bottles buried in the sand. In the video you can actually see quite a few scattered about near the nurse shark. I have not seen any portholes.

I have some older beer bottles from the Normannia. Does the Hebe still hold artifacts? Also, any portholes?
