I am, "Ana Girl" over a year. Honestly, I do not know when, why I have eating disorders. I hate my body too. I cry, looking in the mirror, then I want to do something yourself. I go to therapy about one year, but somehow it's not helping. I do not want to be "normal" I love what I do, bones, a feeling of lightness .... I can not stop, start eating normally. during the last year I hated my friends, family.... I can not forgive them already, what they did.

It's truly an addiction, and like drugs, it can cloud your reasoning. You can't be happy with yourself at any point in this disease. I hope that all of you realize this before it's too late. Health and condidence is much more beautiful than hair loss, loss of tooth enamel, bad breath, etc.

FYI ana lovers - my good friend almost died from being ana - if her mother hadn't literally picked her up (despite her feeble protests of "I'm fine")and carried her into the hospital (she couldn't walk anymore) the doctor said that she would have been dead in two or three days. All of her internal organs had begun to fail. She was in the hospital for over six months. She will probably need a kidney transplant in a few years - Oh and she can't have kids.
Sure, you might look good for a week or so, but after that you look disgusting. You will be repulsive. Who wants to fuck a bag of bones with a tiny dick or a disgusting vagina that hasn't cleaned itself since you started? No one.
And when you start eating again, your body will be fatter than ever if you don't do it right.

its about control. you feel you've lost controll if you let yourself into temptation, it is a pity, because its a mental illness which is so difficult to control. people dont want their bones to stick out cos they think its beautiful. they just want to change, cos they feel it will make them more noticable in a good way. they dont think of it as looking good if all you are is bones. they just think that way because they arent happy with who they are and the lives they are living.

being skinny wont mean you are going to be fat free, anorexics are FAT! I saw a doco on it, they are mostly Fat and bone, because you need MUSCLE to BURN fat, and they have NO musle!!!!! I know girls who eat 6 meals a day who have hardly any fat on them whatsoever

FYI ana lovers - my good friend almost died from being ana - if her mother hadn't literally picked her up (despite her feeble protests of "I'm fine")and carried her into the hospital (she couldn't walk anymore) the doctor said that she would have been dead in two or three days. All of her internal organs had begun to fail. She was in the hospital for over six months. She will probably need a kidney transplant in a few years - Oh and she can't have kids.
So yeah - go for it - ana forever.

This is stupid, no wonder all these disorders continue to take control and kill. The government outlawed the only drug and food. That would stop all these medical problems. Hemp and weed. Weed never increases mental problems or physical problems it cures them. No depression after using.

I feel so strongly about this topic, you people actually make me sick. Making girls believe they need to be and should be so thin that they hospitalize themselves. People struggle to deal with and survive this disorder and all you can do is give them tips and 'thinspiration' to do it? Society has been diluted into thinking that wanting to be thin is anorexia. Its not, being anorexic is SUFFERING. You can't see the weight you loose, most victims have been fat, then got compliments when they lost weight, so they keep loosing feeling the only way to please people is weightloss. The only way you can control you life is weight loss. Paris Hilton my be really thin, and have disordered eating, but she does have the ED.

Does NOT have that ED. She keeps herself thin to be popular, she wouldn't be famous if she was a size 16, face it. If she had an ED, she would have a nervous break down if she gained a pound. Anorexia controls you, you can't get it from seeing skinny girls in a magazine. Thats as rediculous as saying you'll get schizophrenia by reading the DSM. Total bullshit. I suffer from an ED and its NOT a decision, i havent been brain washed, its a control issue.

hmm see the problem facing them is their will to overcome the illness, most people find it easier to be covered by the waves, in a manner of speaking and are either to embarrassed or learned to cope with their disease for so long they dont see it as a problem and wont seek out the help of a psychologist, now if your lucky enough to be a parent and you notice symptoms of the eating disorder you can force the child/teen into therapy
