nice vid. i never got to play ff10 but i got to see that ability system and it looks frustrating compared to other games. but this system didn't look good at first but man this game is good. im just goin through that jungle place now. vaan-33 basch-30 bathier-30.(ive already beaten tiamat and that other wyrm)

i tough thet the battle sytem its like kingdom hearts but its not its so diferent i much dificult to get use to the gambits and how to get magick and techniques in a shop that suck!!

you're probably not far into the game yet since you didnt mention it but (DEPENDING ON YOU, IT MIGHT BE A SPOILER) FF12 has Espers (summons) and like a few FF games only one person can summon them.this time you choose that xD. Also guest characters who are totally awesome! You don't have control over them but they help in the most amazing way. Quickenings and such.. quickenings are kind of like limit breaks but they take away all of your mp. I got into FF when FF7 came out.I think I was 6 then.
A better way of explaining the battle system is comparing it to Star Ocean: Till the End of Time's battle system. FF12's battle system is extremely similar to that game
One more thing to add. This game is HARD. Much harder than any last game to me. Even the creators said it's tough. They put you into some extremes when you're not even halfway done. But I still love it because it reminds me of Everquest, which I love. (Just the battle parts)
The battle system is 1000 times better. I hated having to get caught into a random battle. Now, I can just enter into a battle or dodge it. Makes leveling easier. But boss battles can be tricky, sometimes. You just have to focus on how much HP your group has.
The battle system actually doesn't sound too bad.. Although it does seem like I'll have to rely too heavily on my actual characters skills, than my ability to play the game. I usually prefer just to zip through a Final Fantasy game as fast as I can, ignoring most minigames and unneeded battles. Spending 5 minutes on a pointless battle really bothers me so I run often. :P
I probably won't play for a while though. FF12 is on the end of my list(Well.. FF13 is on the end of my list it's not too far off..). I'm playing all the Final Fantasies and I still need to finish a couple others before I move on to FFX-2, FF11, FF12..
FF6(US 3) is a really great Final Fantasy to start with. I liked it a lot more than 1, 2, or 5. I'm still working on 4 though but I do like FF6 more than 4 so far.
But Final Fantasy 7 will remain the best! The storyline is amazing!
FF7 is pretty good. Especially Knights of the Round materia. I guess if I were going to list my favorites it would be (7,3 tie),10. The rest are ok. The jury is still out on 12 since I'm not done yet.
