I was there in Lake Placid on Saturday 2/25/80 the day between the Russian win and the gold medal win. What an unbelievable atmosphere that i will never forget... USA - USA - USA !!!!

i've played on this rink almost 4 to 5 times and will be this year as a bantam. It is the same scoreboard from 1980 still used there. haha

I remember watching this with my family as a little kid (7 years old) and crying because I was so happy. What an amazing team and an amazing series of events that led up to winning the Gold medal.
