  • Thxs one of my childhood favorite

  • We played this song at my mums funeral. It was one of her favourites. To me, it will forever make me think of my mum who died at forty five, much too young. She's only been gone for a month and a half, this song still makes me cry like a baby. Everytime I listen mum, it's for you.

  • The guy on the far right looks kinda like the Trolol guy. Just puttin that out there.

  • @mollsGreen I always thought he looked like Ringo Starr.

  • I swear this is one of the best songs I have ever heard during my 17 years of living.

  • @johan951ftwm You're 17? Dude ...two words..... "The sixties".

  • I listened to this song on YouTube maybe 7 years ago, had about 1000 views at best. Came back to listen to it today. 1 million plus. amazing, people have great taste in music, it seems.

  • fantastic melody evry time you hear it it allways sounds very fresh and gives you a good feeling

  • Fantastic song, fantastic memories, could make me love the rain and normally I'm just a terrible old fart cynic.

  • WHO IS RINGO STARR????????????????? and why is he even mentioned with AMERICAN ROCK AND ROLL of the 60's? AS FAR AS I AM CONCERNED THEY DESTROYED THE MUSIC OF OUR DAY.

  • @iamtheonlydlogan he's the lesser known member of the beatles

  • This music will never be extinct! Why, because as long as we pass it down to our kids with the memories we had of it, it will always be as CLOSE... AS THE THEIR NEXT THOUGHT.

    iamdlogan1950

  • Sad memories for me. My first love was trying to teach me to dance at the tender age of 15. It was raining and we were on her front verandah with this song playing. Two weeks later she told me she nearly dropped in the previous night with her parents , to meet mine. Coming from a home with two parents alcoholic and the mess this had us in I was horified and ran away from her to avoid the embarresment. So sad. 50 years later I still remember Judy of Adelaide as my first love.

  • 49 years ago, this song began my love affair with music at the tender age of 4. My passion for music has never waned since.

  • Great tune from the good old days of the 1960's. This song was always a crowd favourite, on Saturday nights (Public Ice Skating). Thank you kindly for posting this all time classic, from the "Roots of Rock".

  • @jacdget :)

  • @kaobehkaobu

    use google translate

  • I remember that we listened to this in music class one time because we were trying to get a feel for what music was like for each era. I listen to a lot of music from the 1960s and 1970s, so I was good in that area, but when we were learning about the 1950s, I hadn't heard much. When my music teacher had played the song, the kids in my class sighed and said, "That was horrible!" I honestly didn't know what to say. I think I was the only one in the class who actually really liked the song.

  • @Litterboxer529 Probably 'cause you have class & good taste, Boxer....

  • @Countdecibel1 That may be true, but it really saddened that the other kids hated it.

  • In a radio station in Monterrey I heard a little different version of this beautiful song, and they named the performers as The Cascades, but I can't find it in no other place. The main differences are a little bass in the voice of the main vocalist and a musical arrange with guitar instead of the sound of bells. If someone knows something about it, I'd appreciate that he (or she) share it with us. Thanks.

  • i first heard this song on limewire years ago while i was searching for everly brothers the song came up rhythm of the rain by the everly brothers so i listened to it and i was thinking this isnt the everly brothers. if it wasnt for limewire i probably would not have.ever found this song. one of my faves of all time. if i had one song to listen before i died this would be it.

  • @Thepast2012

Look, of course you mean well but please do save your time and energy. Don't waste it trying to plant any class of normal optimism and common sense into the peabrain of a whiny brat who calls herself "Emo Twilight" (like that really means something so personally agonisingly DEEP that you would never understand etc). The self-absorbed little Weeaboo misery-guts isn't listening, she's only interested in generating replies.

    Ignore the cunt.

  • This song brings back memories of a smoke-filled dance hall in the Village of Val David which is located in the Laurebtian Mountains north of Montreal. AHHH how sweet.

  • so many wonderful comments from all age groups. Music is about memories (recent or the past) no need to judge, just enjoy 1950 guy

  • The era of the 60's rule, there will never be another decade of men and women who had it all...The music, the muscle cars, and the amazing voices that were theirs...I pray that there is a ROCK and ROLL Heaven and that I somehow will get to go... Born in 1950 never felt so good as when I was a teenager in the 60's.
