  • It can be derived from other sources, but in this case, it is derived from wheat but no gluten remains after processing. The Dr. Hauschka co. has said that their shampoos, conditioners and body washes do in fact contain wheat, but other ingredients such as tocopheryols are tested to ensure that no gluten remains. Their tocopherals are specified as gluten-free.

  • I see that you have used Dr. Hauschka's eyeliner which you note on your blog is gluten-free, but in the ingredients I see that it has "tocopheryol" --- is that not a wheat derivative?
