well you could, but doesnt it just look geekier to use photosynth ?? i mean all those data matrix-kind screens flowing around as your mouse pointer moves around...pretty cooolll...eventually, they will improve the way we view the environment, and make it look smoother, like a video but in 3D...eventually...

Good tutorial, saw this photosynth almost 2 years ago, forgot about it. Looks great! Wonder if the website is running on Vista (it's down right now :). GJ Microsoft researchers!
