My guessing is Flair hasn't given enough for WWE, I mean he was a very faithful performer for the NWA/WCW promotions, and he was only under WWE (WWF then) roof for only a year way back then until he returned in the early 2000s after WCW went under. Then he did spent enough time around WWE again.

I just think his career with WWE was over, otherwise I think he wanted to follow Sting into TNA. Otherwise, Flair is probably going to keep going until he can't even make it to the ring.
