Everyone says that Bret sucks at promos, i guess they werent there when this rivalry really broke right after the final four ppv, and the year that came. Those promos bret gave, seemed real, and that doesnt happen very often. Anyone thinks that the Rock promos as fun as they are sound real at all??!....
For me Austin vs. Hart is probably my single favourite feud of all times. Not only was it the final breakthrough for Steve Austin but it also made Hart one of the most hated heels ever in the WWF, but only in the USA. Everywhere else he remained face. That made for a unique fan interaction and an intense feud. The match between Austin and Hart at Wrestlemania 13 is truly a milestone in WWF history.
Stone Cold OWNED this interview. Just goes to show Bret's lack of charisma. He was a great wrestler, but he didn't have the personality for the Attitude Era like Stone Cold did.

You can tell by Bret's personality that he has more confidence than Austin. A truly confident man doesn't need to talk trash and be disrespectful. Bret knows he can take Austin, and so he has nothing to prove to himself. Austin's only way of buiding up his own self-esteem is by trash talking and putting on a tough persona with harsh words. In the ring however, everyone can see and knows that Bret is superior in every way, and that Austin's skill compared to Bret equals utter FAIL.
He tossed that production assistant like a ragdoll. I always thought stone cold was a lil stiff with a bad attitude. He was in that movie beyond the mat and seemed like a asshole but he must have just been staying in character.

I remember watching this on tv and thinking how attentive,striking and "realistic" Austin was during this interview. Bret seems like hes just doing his JOB. Austin was just fantastic at promo's and a damn good wrestle.
And Bret was one of, if not the best technical wrestler in the WWF.
Great feud between two of the greatest of all time.

It seemed from Bret's overall facial expressions that he was somehow just about preventing himself from Laughing however this feud was great and Stone Cold was honestly one really fantastic heel and really showed how from this Interview taunting Bret, I do reckon Stone Cold was around this time becoming very popular fast and soon turned face at Wrestlemania Bret sucked when he became a heel always liked him far more when he was a babyface and Vince really proved annoying during this interview

I remember watching this on tv and thinking how attentive,striking and "realistic" Austin was during this interview. Bret seems like hes just doing his JOB. Austin seems like his life is on the line and is holding no punches back. I wasent a HUGE Austin fan yet but this FOR SURE made me love this guy even more!!
