You raise a valid point, dshow. Nobody should ever idolize serial killers or aspire to be a serial killer. That's the type of thinking that leads to Columbine or 9/11. I certainly think that it's a valuable asset to study the lives and actions of these serial killers because such information can be used to develop psychological profiles and forensic profiles.
