  • 9GAG brought me here

  • @heavypopbeat13

    Me too!

  • 9gag

  • excellent video...very educational...=)

  • i've seen this video before and until now i'm still amazed..

  • ugh enough with the "whooshes!"

  • I have been at the wheel on ships going under that bridge several times, looks huge from below like that. The train always seemed to pass over us when we went under as well.

  • Depressingly, we here in the U.S. can barely keep our roads paved nowadays, much less build anything on this scale!

  • It's not cheap to drive over that bridge.

  • @AbuBishir It costs money to go on it?!

  • @MrTheamazeman 285 Danish krone, 375 Swedish krona or 40 Euros.

  • Denmark really loves Sweden, right? :)

  • proud to be an engineer

  • one of the kind

  • amazing..hope Malaysia will be inspire from this video

  • About "Americans using the outdated measurement" –we were changing in the 1960’s and 70’s and highway signs with MPH & KPH were appearing. Even my America car had a mix of hardware needing a 2nd sets of wrenches or spanners for those of you who don’t drive on the “right” side of a highway :-) . Then the push slowed almost to a stop but it’s still in progress. Now as watched this and the NYC Subways video that new Windows 7 unit converting calculator came in handy a few times.

  • 2fast4furious10. No; only the biggest in Europe

  • I love the Danish Accent

  • @sodamagi1 The Danish don't really have an accent. They tend to pick up accents from whoever taught them English, for some reason.

  • @TUUK2006 lol - i think you're right but same goes for any other non primary english speaking nations?

  • I love how this documentary always uses the metric system. I always get annoyed by Americans using the outdated measurement system: inches, feet, yard, ounces, pint......

    Hell with them.

  • @candoyja No American even likes using it. Everyone at my school(s) have hated the American system, and we love the simplicity of the metric system.

  • @RapistAsshole Senor rapist, I am an American, you're f'n right, we're the only people that use this other stupid system. I hate it sooooo much metric should be used everywhere, we're just egoistic stubborn jerks that can't accept a simple system like this one. =D

  • @candoyja The commentator isnt american

  • @candoyja DEFINITELY. as an american with many danish friends, its annoying when they go "her house is only like 800 m away" and i dont know a bit of what that means. stupid hicks and rednecks want to keep our american ways, TO HELL WITH THAT. switch to metric dammit!!!

  • @salakast everyone uses metric system... i don't understand why usa wont switch

  • i have a guestion is this the biggest bridge in the world??

  • so easy to build a bridge like that...i could done better!!!

  • it is some thing amazing, iam planing to drive through it from copenhagen to Malmo this summer when we go vacation to copenhagen me , my wife and the kids , iam so excited

  • coolest bridge in the world

  • Incredible! Human ingenuity at it's highest!

  • I've tried that bridge during night many times, damn it is beautiful.

  • du er dansk?

  • Comment removed

  • Oh ok. Min kæreste er dansk.. Jeg er engelsk!

  • Hvordan snakker du saa dansk?

  • @Reqrezentin what is somalisk foedt i dernmar

    please translate

  • @yunaas101

    Somali born in Denmark

  • @Reqrezentin so are you somali

  • @yunaas101

    4 Life

  • would it not be cheaper to reclaim all the land between Denmark and Sweden and divide the strait instead of building a bridge or tunnel and then just laying down the highway like on land?

  • So where would the boats go then?

  • @jockedahl123 over the tunnel. that's the reason they did it for. :)

  • @jockedahl123 over the tunnel. that's the reason they built it for.

  • Baltic sea and its marine ecosystem needs the flow of saline and oxygenated water from the North Sea.

  • i'm a 13 year old boy, but i love video like this, and my dad tell me alot about denmarks history;p I'm actually glad that he do it, because then i'm better at school:D

  • This isn't history per say but none the less it is amazing.
