  • i love the tone on that album!

  • Jeff Loomis is just so incredible, everything he does just oozes badass. The riffs are like just as fast as normal peoples solos, and the solos... whewh. Damn I wish I had his talent...

  • Oh my goodness...

  • Holy shit...!!!

  • its the bedtime song of chuck norris!!!!!XD

  • @rocknrollngaming cool, i'm more badass than chuck norris in that point.

  • thats one fucked up album cover right there...!

  • fuck i thought this was on jeff lommis's solo not on a nevermore album ....... either way sick fucking song

  • Jeff loomis is a beast 0_0

  • Could they find a worse vocalist than this?

  • @DomasBanevicius any rapper from the 21st century

  • @metalbassistjd XD Message Approved.

  • Thats bad when your band has to submit a video of a song without lyrics and it gets almost as much as the one with lyrics. Lol i like this version better

  • this song is fuckin neo classical progressive thrash bash nash hash...oh for fucks sake its BRUTAL GOOD FUCKING MUSIC THATS IT!!!

  • to be honest...THEY ARE AMAZINGLY BETTER WITHOUT THE VOCALS!!!!

  • @bbtucci

To be honest, I barely like them with the vocals. I only like the music. And the main reason is Jeff Loomis

  • This could have been on Zero Order Phase...

  • @gearsofwolf Should*

  • FUCKING AWESOME... >:)

  • NEW NEVERMORE FAN !!! THEY ARE SO GREAT ! AND I NEVER LISTENED TO THEM BEFORE

  • Soooooooo much better without the Gay ass Iron Maiden wanna be vocals.

  • better without vocals..

  • i was searching the Never More by Edgar allan poe....but this is better '-'

  • @Arielce9 just for you to know the name of the band is not related to mr poe's scripts :D

  • Alright. This sounds hard as fuck XD

  • so sick...

  • Jeff Loomis + drummer > Nevermore

  • @Omegachall you forgot a bassist. we want some meaty sound too!

  • Cool song, but the active sound kinda kills it, not in a good way.

  • Jeff left the band for what they said as "musical differences" I get the feeling him and Warrel weren't on the same page with where they wanted to take the bands sound. I'm thing Dane wanted to take it to a more power metal thing and Jeff wanted to stay heavy. Just speculation on my part tho.

  • @MetalxXxMayhem No, actually, Warrel's really bad off on drugs right now and there was a lot of infighting in the band. In San Antonio, Texas during their tour(I was there), they were all outside signing autographs and Dane and Sheppard were arguing, and Dane punched Sheppard in the face, and it erupted into a full on brawl.

Bands just always say "musical differences" because it's the professional thing to say.

  • The first two times I listened to this I couldn't even think about how I should give up playing guitar because I was so into it. Then after the fifth time listening I wanted to give up on life

  • The first time I heard this I was speechless and I still am . Fucking Amazing song . !!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Everybody is talking about its 2 bad that Jeff left... Of cause it is he is my favorite guitarist but Van Williams is also a fantastic drummer! And he left 2

  • ...My head just imploded..

  • If this song was played through every peice of technology capable of emiting sound at once i think the earth would implode.

  • @GeglashTheBabyStompa it would implode and explode at the same time. it would kerplode

  • Amazing!

  • Why the FUCK would they break up???!!!!!

  • Thank you Nevermore for all the best albums! I wish each and every one of you members a great life.

    From Nevermore Fans!

  • Jeff Loomis has left Nevermore......just letting you all know

  • At the beginning sounds like Needled 24/7

  • I came.

  • Check my solo.guys

  • how did you get the vox out? just a program or did you get it this way somehow?

  • widdly widdly widdly! Im just like jeff loomis except im widdling in my pants

  • jizz in my pants

  • The best part about the instrumental is, I can pretend it isn't about the evils of abortion.

  • Incredible!!! Now I need to purchase myself a 7-stinged guitar in order to learn this :(

  • they reminds me archenemy ....specially the guitar tone XD

  • I jizzed

  • the instrumental is WAY fuckin better... i don;' much like the singer...

  • *Yawwwn*

We waited five years for this? Back to TGE, EoR, DHIADW, and DNB. Oh well, metal sucks anyway.

  • @harmonicminorshred hahahaha go fuck yourself =D

  • This band is amazing, but the in my opinion vocals sucks.

  • is METALLICA OHH YEAHHHH!!!!! master of puppets

  • is METALLICA OHH YEAHHHH!!!!!

  • OMFG O_o !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I personally think Warrel is an EXCELLENT singer, his style suits nevermore very well and his lyrics are deep... they tell a story

  • Woot

im not a fan off the vocals

  • @berts1405 there aren't any vocals...

  • @anoukwakely the other songs have vocals and i dont like the vocals from this band :D

  • @berts1405 ^^

  • @DreamTheaterization It's not that he sucks but he certainly lacks in the technical and knowledge part of playing guitar. I guarantee that if Loomis or Broderick had a conversation with syn about musical theory his head would explode. However, the signature guitar is simply because A7X has huge following that is word wide, far beyond that of Nevermore. It is nothing more than a marketing deal to get Schecter out in the world.

  • @DreamTheaterization Your right there! I've never liked that Synyster Gates guy anyways :( I cant believe he has his own line of guitars? I try not to crack on anyone that attempts to play the guitar and make money doing what they love, but it drives me nuts when people brag on guitarist's that are obviously lacking at what they do.

Maybe I should have said "Once you get to a certain level of guitar playing there is no better only different" But yes I can tell the diff between great & slack.

  • All of you new to this band need to check out Jeff Loomis solo instrumental cd " Zero Order Phase" Check out the song's "Miles Of Machines" "Devil Theroy" "Jato Unit" thats just to name a few. It's a fing amazing display of shredding & IMHO he has just raised the bar, same way Yngwie did with "Rising Force" & Jason Becker did with Cacophony & Perpetual Burn!

    "

  • 2:28 and onwards!

  • intro "solo" is the besat part imo

  • jeff's impeccable rhythm is what really gets me in this song. one day i'll be able to play like him ....after 58430594985 hours of sitting next to my metronome!

  • Funny, this sounds like something straight off of Jeff Loomis' solo record without any vocals.

  • i don't know why they are so underrated , their metal genre is not bad , is not like a deathcore band to be unknown like that + jeff is amazing

  • it could use a little cowbell...

  • @MANBATCOW lol

  • @MANBATCOW /watch?v=-qegq8mXcpk for all your cowbell needs

  • For some reason,i prefer this w/o the vocals.

    (Sorry Warrel)

  • can someone send me the download of the instrumental?

  • I'm gald there's an instrumenal version, the singer sucked at it (my opinion)

  • @Roigawesomness Dane is kind of a love him or hate him singer

  • the beginning of this song literally punched me in the face ahahah.

  • @garfieldthe3rd which song?:P

i'll make sure they'll hear a lot of metal xD

  • any way I can get this version, without the vocals ?

  • If only all Nevermore songs were instrumentals....they would be my favourite band..NO WAY do they deserve the great Jeff Loomis :-(

  • @StadiumArcadium1234 no they do just not Warrell Dane and his shitty wannabe Queensryche voice

  • Nevermore Rules...Period.

  • How can there be so many amazing riffs in one song?

  • OMG i show my friend this song and he said this song KICK ASS

  • I'll bet Petrucci likes this. And there can't be that much out there that would hold his interest for long. :)

  • I'm addicted to this song.

  • wow sensory overload, this is INCREDIBLE

  • ...........i just became a fan of nevermore

  • @gamerface12 well i so envy you for getting to experience their magic for the first time

  • @gamerface12 i just shit my pants!!!

  • @gamerface12 too bad there is no nevermore

  • @gamerface12 Fuck yea you are.

  • and there is no need to read the lyrics when i can hear them!

  • Two more weeks!!! YES!!!

  • just herd this song on the Liquid Metal station a few minutes ago and now i love it haha

  • Damn I regret not buying it when it came out.

  • this song has some of the most brutal riffs i've ever heard

  • Damn! That's just perfect!Jeff Loomis is my new guitar god!

  • when the double pedal came in i just couldnt stop listening its so EXTREME !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Listening to this now with in ear canal ear buds. My ears thank you!

  • Needs to be a repeat button!

  • @tainted111 If you use firefox 3+, there's an addon called greasemonkey that will add a loop (repeat) button to all youtube videos you see :)

  • Holy shit! That's absolutely awesome! The melodic line is beautiful, and the harmonic background is perfect. Incredible.

  • This will make a good boss soundtrack for a game. And the unbeatable superboss will be Jeff Loomis :D

  • this song is so badass

  • you have to be a demigod to play this!

  • Saw nevermore yesterday, highly recommend to everyone reading this comment to look up their tour dates and go see them live, great show, wont disapoint. O and yes, jeff loomis does have another solo battle again with his other guitarists and shreds everyones ear off

  • All dark metal bands should release instrumental versions of each album they make. Shit's so much better without some guy in makeup blabing about druids or what the fuck ever.

  • @Zerocyde i agree... especially with bands like necrophagist, all those tech death metal bands....I don't mind the cookie monster stuff too much but after a whiile i jsut wanna hear some mind melting riffs instead.

  • FUCKING BADASS!!!!

  • Anyone else noticed that these harmonics Loomis plays during the chorus are exactly the same than the ones he plays during the clean intro of This Godless Endeavor?

  • rap for pansy little nigger boys, this is for real men

  • FUCK YHEA ¡¡¡¡¡

  • Great song to end a fantastict album, Nevermore will Neverdie

  • Listen closely to the double bass at 3:02... It's fucking sick. Great band and one of their best songs

  • Dudes, it's metal. Why go any further than that? If you wanna call it progressive thrash metal in your iTunes, go ahead. If you wanna call it progressive power metal in your iTunes, go ihead. Shit, you can call it pop for all I care. But arguing over semantics kinda diminishes the value of the music when you're trying to enjoy it...

  • God damn rap sucks!!!!!!

  • yeeeeaahhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!

    pure fuckin sweet

  • It's Metal. fk sub genres.

  • @WinglessRaven Why hasn't this got a 1000 thumbs up?

  • Comment removed

  • i hope my neighbours like this.....

  • @bluegang3 HAHA WELL after they get ear raped by Loomis they`ll learn to fucking love it

  • @bluegang3

as much as mine will ..I would add.. \ m /

  • @bluegang3 haha Nice.

  • @murderaddiction I've tried it, and they started headbanging xD

  • @bluegang3 your neighbors better like it

  • 0:0 - 5:15 Best part!

  • wtf ????this is nevermore ....only you guys

  • to me nevermore is like a perfect mixture of thrash and melody with black metal / power metal vocalist....in other words.. ITS FUCKING GREAT:D

  • @xlespaulgothicx it's called Progressive Power Metal :P

  • @sourcekv i love it:D

  • @sourcekv It's just progressive metal

  • @acdcislaw @ArtFenixAsordis nope it's power metal... listen to bass more carefully compare it to Dream Theater (Progressive metal) & Slayer (trash metal)

so you see it's pure power metal style with progressive elements

and if you can see trash has nothing to do with this... so no it's NOT trash progressive...

  • @sourcekv Dude even Warrel says there not power metal, there progressive metal because they don't fit strictly into any sub genre of metal, yes this song has a power metal structure but then if you listen to something off of enemies of reality most of the songs sound more like a clean version of death metal. they cover such a wide variety of metal that you can't classify them so specifically as to say progressive power metal

  • @sourcekv It's THRASH progressive lol.

  • goddamn this has to be the epitome of what music is supposed to be. fuckin sick song guys \m/

  • nevermore is better than dream theater.

  • @grungerobotnow they play different kind of music.

  • Comment removed

  • @grungerobotnow you mean YOU enjoy listening to nevermore more than you enjoy listening to DT...

  • Chuck Schuldiner(vocals), Christian Muenzer(guitars, Jeff Loomis(guitars), Jeroen Paul Thesseling(bass), and Lyle Cooper(drums)

  • @iluvchopsticks Or the bass player from Quo Vadis, And Lyle Cooper is great but I know theres a better one out there for the job.

Anyways, this song is fuckin awesome.

  • ok....Mitch Lucker(suicide silence) vox Jeff Loomis (guitar) Les Claypool(bass) John Boeklin(devidriver) drums hell throw in Jeffery Nothing(mushroomhead) backing vox HAHAHA now that would be SICK

  • @RulingShadowJester

mitch is not bad but i would put erik rutan (hate eternal) as vocalist and rythm guitar and george kollias (nile) on drums

  • Once again Nevemore doesnt dissapoint...farewell Chris

  • Phil Anselmo

    Jeff Loomis gutiars/lLead

Eriik Rutan Rythm lead (hate Eternal)

    Gene'Holgen Drums'

    Rex/ Jason Neusted

Image'' phils sytle of writing' with this sound'' mygod'' Juggernaut

it would be the biggest thing since Vulgar or far beyond hit the world

everybody would shit''''''''bricks'''' common jeff'' make this happen''' not with nevermore cause its warrels band'' and name''''''''''''trendkill

  • Comment removed

  • @deathgift07 you dont know shit!

have you ever stopped and read nevermore`s lyrics?

  • Comment removed

  • @s0bas apparently you don't know shit! it is not just the lyrics that make the music although it does help "depending on the song"

  • The instrumental on this album is absolutely devious and great, but the voide of Warrel kinda blew it a bit...listen to Enemies of reality and the way he sings there and you'll see what i mean...great work anyways.

  • just one question.........where the heck can i find this instrumental version???......i bought the limitied edition box......and it had a guitar part ONLY.......and one part without guitars.....

  • that "1" dislike was herman li when he heard the first 30 seconds.

  • @TheWhocares233

It's up to two, Totman must've wondered on by.

  • @kashguitar hahaha lol

  • @TheWhocares233 and the other dislike is the other gay guitarrist from dragonforce, something tottem or so :D

  • @TheWhocares233 lol greatest comment!

  • @TheWhocares233 best comment ive seen in my life

  • @TheWhocares233 haha. It looks like herman got on a second time.

  • @TheWhocares233 LOL herman li better hide in a bunker :D

  • @TheWhocares233 well there are good guitarists, herman li is one of them. and then there's jeff. period

  • @VentoRdrummeR

The three best guitarists in the world are John Petrucci, Jeff Loomis and Herman Li.

  • @melistentodeathmetal i hope the herman li thing is sarcasm 0.o

  • @matineesuxxx

No, it's not sarcasm. Herman Li is a good guitarist. I don't even like Dragonforce, but You can't deny that He's a good guitarist. Can You play guitar like Him? exactly....

  • @melistentodeathmetal no need to go all attacking my shit. im not as good as him, and i would not lie about saying i was. but one of the best in the world? i just simply disagree with you on the one

  • @matineesuxxx

Fear not, I'm not attacking You man. We are both brethern of Metal! All I'm saying is that He's a good guitarist. If You dissagree, that's fine, You are entitled to your opinion. Keep it Metal. Always. \m/ >_< \m/
