CSX decided a couple of months ago to downgrade their 4400 hp loco's to 4000 hp's to conserve on fuel and to have loco's pulling for the right amount of tonnage.
It was only ES44AC 950 that was built the rest of the order was canceled. 950 becomes IAIS 512. IDK what's going to happen with the 100 ES44DCs CSX still either has or doesn't have on order. Really won't matter since the GE Evolution Hybrid is beginning production 2010.
