HAHAHAA just like me hahah hell yeah, This is my cellphone ring tone oh yeah,... If you wanna its extended version let me know. Extended one is of 2:37 mins.
one of my least favorite episodes (this episode had music from yanni, argh!), but this is a good clip. no, i don't think the truman scores can be found anywhere, or at least i haven't found them
good news people! apparently Tim has managed to convince Universal to release his music! we don't know what format its going to be in, but we do know Tim is going to put all his best tracks on it!
I don't get why people rag on Truman, other than the fact that he replaced Hammer. Truman's score perfectly fit the gritty tone of the 5th season. You can't really compare Truman and Hammer too much, IMO.
Also, while season five had some duds, there were also some absolute gems. I would put "Line of Fire", "Over the Line", "World of Trouble" (most underrated episode, I feel), and "Freefall" with the best of the prior seasons. Now season 4...
Agreed. The Tim Truman scores were likely meant to progress the show towards the 90's. The grittier look and feel of the show and sound of the music must have caused a decrease in loyal viewers for some reason though. The way the series concludes at the end of this season just felt rushed. I feel Miami Vice still had one more good season left in it, but maybe it's because i actually like the more modern turn the show had taken in season 5.
Tim Truman's music was awesome. I just saw the entire fifth season again and I especially like the music at the end of the final episode. The part where they turn in their badges and then the song when 'says goodbye' to the St. Vitus. Does anybody know where I can find that music?
He's been trying for years to get clearance from Universal to release his Vice material, but it's a possiblity he'll release it as a download-only collection on iTunes and other outlets, in the future. I honestly like Truman's style a tad better than Hammer's.
thanks for the info..this song sounds better than some hammer stuff, but in season 4 there was some really great hammer stuff that isnt available either i think
In my opinion this was the worst episode ever..besides Missing Hours, Cows of October and Viking Bikers from Hell. I love this show but it also had some very stupid episodes.
That's not the point with me uploading this video. This music cue is one of the best of the show ever. Viking Bikers from Hell too have a nice cue in the start.
This is as good as every show of Miami vice, however
they have to have a criminal execute other criminals
otherwise it would not be politcally correct.

Universal Studios should let Tim Truman release the cues he composed for Miami Vice, especially this one and the one used in "Line of Fire".

Hi there. As far as I know, this cue has no specific name. Moreover, this piece of music has never been released, so you won't find it anywhere.

I dont know why people dont like this ep. I thought it was different & pretty good. A little bit "noir" like good MV should.

Yeah i guess the choice of Truman was because it was moving towards the '90s so music was getting more into grunge/rock and less punk/new wave
