Have been to Maysville a number of times. My relatives have a farm nearby. Spent a number of summers in the area as a teenager and went back decades later for my cousins' weddings. Met Nick Clooney at one of them. In the '70's saw a show at that Opera House that George mentioned. Have a friend whom lived in Maysville for a while in the 1980's whom fondly calls the town "Mayberry".

I guess he was embarassed to be interviewed by his dad ... he used so much charm with other reporters and interviewers, but to his father, he didn't know what to do and where to put his eyes on ... he was like a kid ... while his dad tried his best to comfort him. Kid is always kid in a dad's eye.
